That's funny but since someone just point one of his "past mistake", strangely he became the worst scumbag ever…
He committed crimes and only his celebrity is saving him from jail. How you decide to deal with what happened to you is for you to decide. His victims are the ones who deserve their day, now, not you and certainly not Ji Soo.

I hope he will not be depressed and commit suicide
I'm a retired psychiatric nurse and I think it is unlikely he will commit suicide. His remorse came only when he was exposed and is likely less than sincere and he seems to be following the advice of behind-the-scene legal counsel step by step.

The things that are coming to light paint the portrait of someone lacking empathy for others and too enamoured of himself to commit suicide.

I have been bullied , as well. What Ji Soo is being accused of actually constitute crimes. See my post above this…
QUOTE FROM YOU Mari: "hey, but he was just a teenager, teenagers do any shit to look cool and draw attention he must be punished of course, but all of you ruining the acting career that he fought for years is slutty"

Everything just goes right over your head, doesn't it?

I have been bullied , as well. What Ji Soo is being accused of actually constitute crimes. See my post above this one as I try to explain why these people haven't just marched over to police stations to directly seek justice.

You are making a great many assumptions as to how genuinely Ji Soo is sorry for what he did. The facts, however, show that he only issued his statement once he had been exposed. That is not a sign of sincere remorse by any degree... in fact, it's very cynical.

What you choose to do regarding your bullies is your affair. On behalf of his victims, I feel I must be blunt: to express sympathy for Ji Soo as you have is to turn your back to their pain and your rationale for doing so is flimsy. at best.

For those questioning the merit of the accusers claims:

The enormous stigma and loss of face the victims would be exposed to in going public and pressing charges would likely compound their suffering. Korea has a long history of those with senior social status, wealth, connection, etc. being able to get away treating "inferiors" in horrible and criminal ways, because they know that the accusers have to endure so much to even seek legal remedy.

You can bet that Ji Soo was being advised either by personal or company lawyers to write that "apology." It is doubly cynical in that they would have advised Ji Soo to concretely deny each accusation and threaten legal action of his own if he were innocent...

Since the "apology" was what was produced, his legal advisors were likely of the opinion that to try and deny any of the accusations would only open the door for additional legal jeopardy for Ji Soo. So, Ji Soo issues his statement but the hidden message is "accept his, because we know you're too intimidated to try and take this further."

The entertainment company is trying to seek direct contact with accusers. Is that because they are interested in their suffering? Given historical examples, it is far more likely so that they can do risk assessments for each accuser and offer them hush money to go away.

Well I think there is a way for him to show sincerity here. If he really regrets his past, he should take this…

I hope we will see many his dramas in future, he is one of most talanted actor and I hope this wont effect his…
By not denying the accusations immediately and instead offering a vague apology, he has destroyed any credibility he has to defend against the charges, from a legal viewpoint. You can be certain he would have been advised as such.

His "apology" then is a cynical bid to save his career, not a act of genuine sorrow, He was only sorry once he had been exposed.

That's pathetic. You clearly lack any basic human empathy for his victims. Congratulations on owning the number…
I have been abused, as well. While you may be content to leave things to God you have no right to expect other victims to do the same. The extension of your thinking would infer that no crimes should ever be punished on Earth. It's telling that this needs to be pointed out to you.

If what he is accused of is true, this is an extremely delicate matter. We are not talking about picking on someone,…
From a developmental stand point, given the age he would have been when the incidents occurred, the average person at that age and stage would have known that the actions were wrong to do.

The sexual nature of some of his crimes would likely have had him tried as an adult in many, many jurisdictions around the world if he had been found out and charged when he committed them. Many jurisdictions have no limitations or expiry dates on the filing of charges of a sexual nature.
