Do you realise just how self-absorbed and horrid you both just came of as?
QUOTE: "Exactly!!! I've waited long enough for this drama and yet there are so many problems happening starting off with the controversy of their hanboks and then now this??? Seriously, WHY!!!!"
Where, in this comment, did you express a word of empathy for the victims? I don't see it...
Only time can demonstrate if he is truly sincere. The fact that he issued the apology only because he had been…
He should make the offer publicly, to demonstrate that he is willing to sacrifice his material comfort to demonstrate remorse for what were arguably crimes. A way could be devised by which victims could receive compensation without having to publicly identify themselves.
I just think someone getting into the spotlight as an actor, singer or enterteainer with a violent past even if…
Up to right now, his atonement is hollow. Actions speak louder than words. If he's truly sorry, he should offer financial compensation to his victims. It won't undo the past but it might help them and him by showing he's willing to sacrifice his material comfort for what he did.
I think with bullying it is important, for non famous people as well as celebrities, to see their faults and wrongdoings…
Only time can demonstrate if he is truly sincere. The fact that he issued the apology only because he had been exposed does not make for a sincere start. Rather than the empty gesture of getting on his knees, maybe he should offer compensation to his victims.
There are things in his letter that I don't like but I don't want to nitpick and rather focus to the whole statement:Admitting…
The position is undermined by the fact that he did not spontaneously apologise to those he wronged. He only did so after being called out publicly for it. That is not genuine contrition.
I support Ji Soo, and even more so the whole drama team.I'm not a fan of the actor, it's just that I'm even more…
What drivel. Do you really think he did that without checking with legal advisors? Anyone with an ounce of common sense and a few episodes of Judge Judy under their belt could have told him that you need to flatly and specifically deny the claims being made against you and threaten legal action. That is, if you are innocent...
Instead he posted his "apology:" a craven bid to save his career. His only real sorrow is in being called out for what he did. From a legal standpoint, he has undermined any credibility he might have had to protest his innocence. Sorry, no defamation wins for him...
Your lack of empathy for those he wronged is reprehensible and your self important indignation, tarted up with vaguely moralistic and religious terms, shows you up for being truly petite bourgeoisie. ("Petty" bourgeoisie: nice try!)
Even better was when you tried to defend the all-but-self-confessed bully by deriding bullies, thinking to apply that to people who find his behaviour repulsive. Hilarious!!!
I will agree, though, that "cancelling" him doesn't have the right ring to it. I much prefer the sound of "prosecute," and/or "sue him into bankruptcy and oblivion."
Thank you for joining MDL, yesterday. Do enjoy your stay...
OK. I'm going to just go ahead and give that an 8 because I think the two guys are gorgeous! No storyline critique, no character analysis... they're just gorgeous!
It makes for a fun clip but they really should put some time into a full story to show what they could really do. I'd be there for it!
