Same, I am certain there is season 2 just because of that.I would love to see it, them and Sorawit and that
I'm holding out hope for a second installment. The sequel novel is set in Bangkok, from what I've read. I'll miss Viangpha Mork. To me, the area was as much a character in the series as the people. How would one get all those characters relocated in a reasonable way?
(Not that BLs have been very mindful of those kinds of things between installments in the past.)
I think Bun knows about Rung's end....wasn't him the one telling the final notes about the congressman, the judge,…
Yes, he is narrating but but it doesn't necessarily mean he knows everything. He didn't narrate anything specific during Rungtiva's capture and death.
My take on Bun's character is that he wouldn't want Tan involved with murder but Tan felt honour bound to help because of what Rungtiva did to so many people close to Tan. Bun saw her car cross the border on the computer screen and Tan might well have just let him think that Rung got away.
That would seem truest to their characters. That's just my take, though...
I wrote this in my review, you can check it out aboveBut they had like a lot of misses in the series like a lot…
I think that the finale was the weakest link in terms of the resolution. There were holes and conveniences that you could drive a truck carrying a corrupt congressman through! ;)
The series as a whole, though, has been one of the most engaging, interesting, and well rounded ones I've seen. IMO, they can be proud of what they accomplished.
I'm going to miss Viangpha Mork and it's people, especially Tan and Bun.
Sharing here because I remember someone said they don't use other social media. This was shared on MOD official…
Thanks for sharing that! I don't use much social media other than this site, so I really appreciate it. Looking at how it says "MaxTul: Once the chapter ends, the memories will always be extended" I hope that it's not referring to an end of the MaxTul pairing entirely. =(
Many, many thanks to all of those who brought this story to life for us! I've loved the way they tried to break it out of the standard mold and hope there will be more like it, to come!
That was a satisfying ending Rungthiva-wise, considering that justice was meted out by Por (who in the book died…
I agree that it was somewhat satisfying for Tan to hand Rung over to Por. Given what she had done to Jane and Pued, and what she tried to do to Por, Thad, Sorrawit, and (of course) Bun, I could see it in character for him to think jail wouldn't be enough. I'm also sure that it's one last secret he'll keep from Bun.
The proposal set-up was brilliant, if a little cruel, on Tan's part. The folding card brought a tear to my eye.
I also liked how Bun told Tan to get used to him being romantic from now on. No more coy boy: hooray!
I'm also hoping for another season. I might be in the minority but I think it'll be a pity to have it set in Bangkok. The town has been an integral part of the story and seems to have meant so much to Tan and Bun. I'm also worried what characters might not make it to a sequel set in Bangkok...
I think it's that they're just so comfortable with each other and that this story is intense so it really come…
Indeed. I'm crossing my fingers in hopes of a second installment. Tul's contract with TV Thunder ends this year and, from various interviews, I get the sense that he might be getting ready to shift his focus to working in his field of study. (He was supposed to go to New York to get a higher degree, but then Covid happened.)
If this is the last we see of them performing together, at least they've given us memories to enjoy again and again. I'm grateful to them not only for those performances but also for the numerous times they've spoken out for LGBT equality. I bet that neither of them thought about what getting those roles in Bad Romance would lead to.
I agree with you! I think compared to other BLs, this one is definitely up there. But when you're comparing it…
I've actually really enjoyed the music they've used. It complemented the scenes without trying to take them over. I'm also incredibly grateful that there are no silly sound effect clips, as well.

Someone had mentioned that they'd been reading Transplant. I'd heard it's not complete but is it available in English?

13 was somehow even more of a gut punch, this time. =(
There is an OST, though, sung by Tul Pakorn:

The verse with the string accompaniment is so romantic, it gives me goosebumps,,,
