I absolutely loved this show (can you tell from my pfp?) with its non-existent story, questionable non-situationship and "suggestive lovemaking scenes". But then you have to just write a review that I love more than the show. Not fair 🙌
Have you seen Reset? And are you watching Revenged love? If yes, can we expect reviews? 😁
I loved loved loved Reset. And abt Revenged love... 🤐
I wanna say something abt Peterpan. This guy wears the character of a man who's completely surrendered himself and his heart to Armin like it's his own skin. And the best part of their chemistry is how they react to each other with their eyes. Thada listens to everything Armin says like it's the very thing that's changing his life. Dude's eyes be like: tell me more 🤩
And Pond's tears are always on autopilot like someone is always cutting a truck of onion near him. That dude prolly doesn't even need those eyedrop thingies.
I loved it! The whole nine yards of it! Even the parts I wouldn't like in other dramas, I loved in it! I am shamelessly biased to this BL Lakorn and own it shamelessly. I am rating it 10/10 based on the pure entertainment and the butterfly apocalypse in mystomach I got every time Armin and Thada were together on screen. I am a simple girl, a drama entertains me like it's the purpose of its existence, I give it all the marks and don't care if later trolls come at me data scientist level researching my watchlist and shaming me for giving the drama full marks against their faves. Like, go ahead, have a blast trolling me like I had a blast watching the show, even tho you have 0 contribution to my enjoyment. Ok, I got off track.
This show is pure love. I have been watching Lakorns for 12 years. I watch them way less now than I used to a few years ago, because of the hopeless uncertainity of subs. Anyone who is a seasoned Lakorn watcher would know the over-the-top acting and storytelling eccentricities of a Lakorn are its charm. It may not be for everyone, but it is for a lot of ones. And this show blends those super entertaining Lakorn eccentricities, aka Bom's hammy villain acting -- that dude understood the assignment --- organically with BL quintessence. Also, never loved watching villains in a show this much.
This show also has its cheesy moments and cringey lines --- "I want to be inside you" and "You're mine"s galore --- of which I was okay with the former and could ignore the latter.
But this show wouldn't have been what it is without its mc: the boys who can act emotions so well that you'd think they are really feeling them. They made the show, and I hope they come back together in many more like this. I am not a fan of BL ship concept because i feel it stops actors from exploring different partners, which is just weird. For growing as actors, they need to work with different partners and in different characters. I much prefer Lakorn's kujin arrangement. They have two actors who act with each other in multiple works while also starring with other partners. This is a win-win for both the actors and fans. I wish bl had the same thing. But BL ships are like either together forever or never. Messed up.
Anyway, don't know what else to say to express how much I loved the show. So, let me just stay in its atmosphere for a while and feel it some more. 💗💗
p.s also love that the whole show focuses on just one couple, and the couple made it worth it.
Thada: I don't understand why Armin doesn't talk abt the wedding anymore. Wenai: Do you want me to investigate? Me: Sure, pookie, this is such an investigatable matter.
The story is cute, but the comedy is forced and fails for me. The only time it works is when Poom is saying something funny. This guy can act. But the main issue for me here is that the mc doesn't have romantic chemistry. They have chemistry, but it's not romantic. I dunno why. Saint had amazing chemistry with Perth and Zee. I am guessing he was bugged out of his brains to do another bl and so he did it, out of sheer demand and not bc he was all ready. Just my guess.
I want Love... They give us Lust...Sigh...I think my biggest mistake was watching this at the same time as RESET.…
This is exactly the feeling I had about another show while watching it with Reset. Reset is a BL Lakorn with NC scenes, but the scenes are not inserted randomly just for the sake of checking the box.
I love how every time anyone walks in on Thada kissing Armin, he be like: "b^tch, turn around", and just be kissing away. No one or thing can stop him from kissing Armin. Rizzpect 🙌
I was saving episode 8 and 9 bc I know whatever I watch after this will immediately become not as great bc of relative perception which is not fair to whatever I'll be watching but now i have to watch episode 8 and 9 bc the airing day of this show is so inconvenient, Monday: the day the week and its sh*t begin 😩
