You must have missed weeks 1-2 when lots of people were dissing the drama for casting a ML who looked either too young to be a leader or too childish compared to the FL.
This is based on a webtoon, people willl always have an opinion on who they want to be in the cast and sometimes don't give it a proper chance.

Struggling to think of a ML who is a bit out of the box....maybe Fight for my Way? Dong Man wasn't rich but he had a childhood friendship which was actually interesting.
Most kdrama romance MLs are either rich, cold or a huge green flag!
