As I'm not a fan of Yoon Sang Hyun, I debated whether to watch this drama but I'm glad I did. The storyline is interesting and the cast did a great job acting their parts. I like Sung Joon better here than in the other shows I've seen of him. Definitely recommend!

I wanted to give up halfway but decided to give it a chance for the sake of the cute guys (Kim Sung Joo the cutest!). Verdict: Should have stopped halfway!

I enjoyed the show mainly because of the chemistry between Park Hyung Shik and Bo Young.They made me laugh a lot with their discovery of love for each other. But to me, the show's comic relief of the gangsters was very irritating and ridiculous!

I had been putting off watching this drama as I thought it was just another 'ER' type of drama. I gave it a try after reading more reviews about it and I'm so glad I did. It's one of the best drama I've watched so far. Joo Won's acting is superb - I'm not surprised he got numerous awards for this drama. The issues that were dealt with in this drama were so realistic and beautifully acted out by the cast. Kudos to the writer as well!

I'm probably the last to watch this drama but thanks to you all reviewers, I'm so glad I did. I normally don't go for long dramas (30 ep is long to me!) but I decided to give it a chance since I read such good reviews of it. Thank you all!

Thanks for the recommendations. I've just started on Jdrama. Can anyone tell me the website where I can stream some of these shows? The ones I go for Kdrama do not have a lot of Jdrama. Also often there are no English subs.

Like your article - good to know we have different likes and dislikes and we don't have to like a drama just because of good reviews. I dropped Pinocchio too (8/20) and I thought I was a rare one :)! But I enjoyed It's Okay,That's Love (interesting characters and story theme) and Oh My Venus (entertaining and made me laugh a lot). Maybe MDL should start a column where we post dramas we dropped and why we dropped them.

Looks like I need to watch The Snow Queen after reading this article and the raving praises from the comments here. As a fan of Hyun Bin, I'm looking forward to see him in a good drama! Thanks everyone for the recommendation!

After reading glowing reviews of this show, I watched it and I'm so glad I did. I enjoyed it immensely. This is one of the best drama I've ever seen, the storyline is so good and thought provoking. Lee Jin Wook and Jo Yoon Hee were very good at their roles and Lee Seung Jun acted very well as Sun Woo's best friend. Even after watching the last episode, I continued thinking about the ending which I think is very interesting. I'd definitely recommend this drama to watch!

Agree with you guys about the ending....no connection (did the scriptwriter disappear too? :)) but liked the story as a whole. Would have been better if less episodes.

Just watched him in 'Birth of a Beauty'. I think he and Jung Kyung Ho look really alike. Anyone agree?

This drama is what I would call a 'feel good' drama. The story is very interesting and there is a lot of educational value in it. Both the leads acted well, especially Lee Sung Kyung who was very credible as a weightlifter! I really enjoyed watching this show and would highly recommend it.

Just checked and found that East of Eden has 56 episodes! I haven't watched any shows above 30+ episodes yet coz I'm afraid I don't have the patience to stay on if it becomes too dragging. I think I'll go for My Princess first.

Thanks for this very interesting writeup about SSH. I only saw one of his shows which was 'A Man's In Love' which I didn't particularly like (jumped to the ending after watching halfway) but I was quite taken up by his acting and good looks. Now I am going to watch some of his other shows! Thanks again :)
