I unlocked like 20+ stages of sad because I really felt for all these 2D characters deaths. I was prepared for…
So much was happening, I was expecting those deaths but yh, it still hurts to see people like Yonger being stabbed so easily and she didn’t even have a proper grave, just floating adrift in the ocean unlike that envoy man who were killed at the border. 😭 I was actually focusing on how fast everything seems to have happened. Prince Duan dethroning CEO Dan after the ED died (which btw felt like we didn’t get enough of her suffering) was so quick, and that boulder being dropped on him lets him off way too easily lol.
Oh wth?! From the preview it looks like Chat dies? They seriously need to air these shows at oce. I hate waiting…
Have you caught up yet? They thought he did, but he didn’t. He was on the edge of life. His soul ended up walking through the entrance of the village, instead of being in that bell area. The editing here was weird bc they showed him just sitting in the cafe talking to them already.
The ending is a little different from the OG S1 version.
If I were to watch this blindly, I’ll say it’s almost like a typical ghosty themed lakorn with somewhat of a unique twist, the village being what keeps the spirits trapped there and I would be happy but unfortunately, when you compare it to S1, it’s like a more condensed version of the plot focused 98% solely on the leads. Overall, it’s not bad but not good either.
This peace talk turned fight scene was so epic, CEO Dan was criticised by Mr Bei for poor aiming of the gun, but was saved by YWY who had perfect aim?? 😂
Bro walked in with confidence, shot some people, was stabbed, encouraged himself to hang on bc he had someone to go back to, then said he wasn’t going to make it seconds later, had a hallelujah moment bc his Noble Consort came to save him only to stab some more, talk a bunch for ‘peace talk’ reasons and walk out whilst bleeding out!
They went from waking up in each others arms, being aware of each other for days, to ncouraging each other, then fighting while taking care of Woo Joo to making up with food in the end. 😂
The bassinet was still in the friends place, I guess, the friend wasn’t available that day? One thing is for sure, this guy likes to take the baby out to workplaces. 👍🏼
It hurts to see our Woo Joo hurting. 😭 But he was so adorable slouching on the chair before that in front of the camera. When can we see the final edits??
So did they drink a cup of toast in peaceful times? Not really.
The word peace is subjective to many people. The ending depicts that, and of course what eventually happens after as commented below. History truly isn’t kind indeed.
At least the common people were full of smiles for a time, right?
Getting to know and read about this time period was enlightening and I was always looking forward to what y’all were sharing in the comments. Peace is a luxury born from sacrifices of many people.
PS: Please save yourself and do not read the book or the manga. The amount of shit flying by the ml over 1000…
I had a love-hate relationship with this author’s books lol. I read them all, way back in the days when Webnovel use to be popular but it was too toxic, so I would buy some chapters and skip some. I did not get past the first episode of Pretty Man nor did I watch this vertical. im glad to hear you enjoyed this one and the book though.
Teaching the cute baby, ‘no’ and him looking so sad made me weak. 😍
Also having no hot water truly is a pain. Trust me, from experience. 👌 #Dramalogic is that without hot water and soaking in the rain for a day, you’ll start coughing and get sick immediately ah.
Bro was ready to bury her six feet under after toying her with poison.
We didn’t get robbed this time. Congrats to the Empress to be. 😂 I happen to come across the BTS, it was fun lol.
Oh he has no idea. 😂😭
Empress Dowager: -1 Xiahou Bo:0 Xiahou Dan: +1

Also I’ve been counting, they have a retractable knife, megaphone, hotpot and now a makeshift gun in their inventory.
