True.I think I see strong female characters in almost every second Kdrama.Even the passive girls have their strong…
I mentioned these three because for the most part they were strong, the parts where they were vulnerable made them relatable and got the viewer invested and cheering for their happiness.
What about My Name Is Kim San Soon, Marriage Not Dating or Strong Woman Do Bong Soon? I thought all three of these FL's were a great mix of strong yet vulnerable women.
I know Goblin and this series aren't related but should I watch Goblin before watching this?
I liked Goblin very much but unless you like fantasy drama I wouldn't recommend you watch Goblin. This is a fluffy cotton candy romance. Perfect for after you've watched something that made you sad.
I guess I was the only one unhappy with the ending of an otherwise wonderful drama. I would have preferred that Saki eventually fall in love and marry at some point in her life. It made me sad that she lived the rest of her life alone plus it kinda traps Jin into living the rest of his life alone or it will mean that his love wasn't as deep as hers... I hate that kind of thing.
Does anyone know: How this website works? And how i can start watching this show? Could someone help me please?
This website is mainly for keeping track of the Asian dramas that you have watched and to link you to dramas you might be interested in the future. If you are interested in watching a particular drama I suggest joining a streaming sight. Viki is a good one to start with because it has a pretty good library of older dramas like this one.
Is it really that bad? Yes. Yes, it is. I'm a fan of Rainie, Blue, and Johnny. These are three of the sexiest Twanianese actors out there who can actually act and even they couldn't save this drama.
Don't tell people to skip it just because YOU don't like it
Why not? If I think a drama/movie is a "must watch" should I not say that when I recommend it? As long as I'm not disrespectful I should be able to say why I think a drama is bad. I That's why MDL HAS a comment section. If someone LIKES remakes of 90's Japanese dramas or American daytime soaps they'll know that this drama is for them!
I was on the fence about watching this drama. The age difference was extreme and I couldn't see how the writers were going to make it work. In the end, I have to agree with the people who recommended this drama. It doesn't condone Teacher/Student relationships. In fact, I think it does the opposite. I have to admire Akira's mom for standing strong even when she understood that her son was the person who was the pursuer. It would have been easy to throw up her hands and say he's eighteen now just wait until he graduates and you can do what you want. She was very clear that the adult was supposed to act like an adult and say, "No.". I also liked how they showed another romance where the woman was in a position of power and where there could be some question as to whether the viewer would support the relationship.
