Hmm, I agree to a certain extent. I'm always ready for the strong female character, but I'll appreciate…
You might like Jung Soo Young from High School King of Savvy then!

Oh wow this <3 <3 <3 I feel it so much. I hate watching women get thrown around as a prop in shows instead of being treated as a character, or when women start out really strong and their development is for them to crumble as people and give their entire worth to another person in the name of love.

Some female characters I think fit the opposite are:
Shin Ji Hyun from 49 Days.
Sakurai Misaki from A Girl & Three Sweethearts
Hong Seol from Cheese in the Trap
Any of the girls in Dream High
Doctor Yoo Eun Soo from Faith
Kim Mi Yeong from Fated to Love You (arguable but I think she fits here)
Ji Hae Soo from It's Okay, That's Love
Na Bong Seon and Shin Sun Ae from Oh My Ghostess
Mishil and Seon Deok from the Great Queen Seon Deok
Reply characters
PD Tak Ye Jin and Cindy from The Producers
Ahn Chae Yool and Yoon Mi Do from Seonam Girls High School Investigators
Kim Yoon Hee from Sungkyunkwan Scandal
Ryu Du Ri from The Lover

Yeah I often find myself just writhing in frustration or dropping dramas when I see poor treatment of characterization in girls/women.

Although some of the acting could be better (which is true for almost all kdramas... well all shows in general, the story is actually pretty well written, especially the way they incorporate tropes to include the audience. its pretty entertaining and fun to watch ^_^

For God's sake, is Lee Joon Gi the ONLY actor who can star in historical dramas in Korea? He is boring, it would…
yeah u did come off as rude and passive aggressive. Look I get it, you probably like him as an actor, that's great. Yeah you're also right that we are entitled to our opinions, but to say that we can't share those opinions is a bit much.

Wow they happen to dig in the "comfort women" historical topic! this might have made a mess in Japan…
Oh wow!! I've been seeing stress over that issue in the news, I wonder what the reaction in Japan was! I'll have to watch this drama eventually.
