I agree it's OTT but both the leads were so good with the OTT, its so entertaining to watch.

How many of you cringed at this part of ep 20 but still love it? 😂https://x.com/cheesecatrina/status/1974439831767003313
I love it and keep rewatching the scenes and the bts. They look so good!

As I watch this, I keep thinking who will make the perfect FL and ML if they remake this into a Korean version.

Person Ji Chang Wook
I thought he looked worse in TWOE, the one right after he emerged from being bashed in the police station and…
Ahh...I see. There was also a comment on how he lost so much weight that his cheek bones were so prominent. Can't wait to see his range of emotions in this one.

Person Ji Chang Wook

I thought he looked worse in TWOE, the one right after he emerged from being bashed in the police station and he was smoking with one swollen eye.

Zhao Lusi is pretty and talented, and her wardrobe here is chef's kiss, but I'm still not used to her makeup.…
Yeh very different but I suppose she wanted to break out of her previous image. The makeup works well for the character here but I wish the color of her hair is darker cos with some outfits, that color doesn't work so well. But overall, she looks really pretty here.

Just saw this clip….. seems the mother-in-law really does care. So maybe she will say something or do something…
So heartwarming. FL wasn't perfect but she really treated everyone she cared about with heart, doesn't matter what their social status are. That's why they really liked her. Only her bio parents were blind to her.

Am I the only one who didn't like when FL slapped Fang Lei?? Everything else FL has done was so classy, and slapping…
I felt like it was all an act. But her motives are not clear to me. May be to set up the divorce. I didn't feel she slapped her to give vent or was really that angry with the girl.

I’m so so obsessed with drama 😭 it’s started very strong, but become more and more addicting with each…
Same. It's been awhile I'm so vested in a drama. Honestly, I didn't like this one when I started ep 1 but as I watched on, I got hooked. It's gripping enough to make me care about the characters.

Haoming’s deception is actually way worse than Xu Yan’s! It’s very obvious, that she lied about her family…
Exactly. He schemed to get her to fall for him to fit his own agenda. He manipulated right from the beginning and controlled every step. It's scary. And when she wanted to reveal the truth, he stopped her from doing so, not even caring that her guilt was eating her alive. So like one of the narrations I heard, she thought she was fooling him but she was being fooled big time all the while.

She fell for him and lied just so to marry him. It's all wrong yes, but at least she was genuinely trying to build a family with him. She's a liar but she's not a fake when it comes to human emotions. She put in real effort to win everyone she wanted to win.

QUESTION:Until which episode is Xu Yan tortured by her monster in law? I'm on episode 3 and I'm starting to wonder…
Her MIL actually treated her decently after marriage and they got along very well when XY knew how to win her favor.

In the end it’s always the ML’s fault. Like in many other C-dramas, they make the ML do something wrong, and…
Then you should get started on the drama first in order to make a fair comment. Anyway, I don't get that double standard. Based on the many C-dramas I've watched, it seems the FL always get the hate, being labeled as childish, immature, insensitive...etc even though she has her reasons.

in an interview William Chan said at first he was really hesitant with accepting this role, as CEOs in romance…
He nailed the oily part too. Haha. Not that oily but enough to make you feel a bit icky on the inside.

This is funny. You're right! I didn't even noticed.
Oh you're right! We only saw it in the trailers. No wonder it didn't register that deeply.

I really wanna know how it's different from Chang Wook's Fabricated city. The whole premise looks the same
It's the same story but without the nerdy gamer part and probably more depth in terms of revenge. I'm curious about his backstory and how he was able to ride a bike and shoot so smoothly at the same time considering he was a food deliverer.

FL may have been a liar but she never lied about her emotions toward the family. She did things for them to win their favor but she wasn't fake in those interactions. As for ML...he lied about his feelings so that's deeper to me. Okay, I'm so ready for a jealous and pathetic CEO begging for his ex-wife to return. I won't mind if FL's third wheel is not as irritating as that Fang Lei.
