I can FEEL him rising from the ashes like a phoenix with his latest shows. He is a really layered actor, and each…
Well said! I find his role in The Sound of Magic in particular, really unique. It marries his acting chops with his musical singing talent. It's quite bold because it's quite a feat for a Korean musical on Netflix to succeed especially when most people tend to compare to Disney type of musicals. Now he is recognized not just as an actor but a musical talent with great voice too!
He is so talented but now a days his drama stories are really crap . Lovestruck, backstreet, melting me are really…
You didn't mention The Sound of Magic which is most recent and is successful. How come? Also, Lovestruck may be rated only 8 here but it is rated 8.6 on Douban, watched by over 33,000 people (double the numbers at MDL) and ranked higher than some of the popular ones you think are great. It also was consistently ranked number 1 on Korea Netflix during the time it was broadcast.
Different folks, different strokes. No need to bash the artiste's work just cos of your personal preference.
I lost hope in Ji Chang Wook he don't know anymore how to choose a good script. After Healer and K2 he's projects…
Your taste in drama is rather shallow and lacks depth. Obviously, you only like action genre. So don't make sweeping, disrespectful statements about an artiste when you cannot even comprehend his works well enough. And no need to repeat your pointless comments everywhere just to annoy.
Am I the only one who doesn't feel that masterpiece atmosphere from this drama? Can't really put my finger on…
I would be leery if they try to make a masterpiece atmosphere out of a hospice-centered story. I agree with @John Smith that this is more of a piece of art that only some will gather together to appreciate. I had initial reservations about the lack of background music for example but now appreciates they don't deliberately introduce that just to induce emotions.
Edited: I found the scene in ep 3. AvenueX did a screen capture and XLH was like a tiny doll in DFQC's hand. I really don't remember watching that while watching her review but now that I watched ep 3, I remember.
I was watching AvenueX's review of this drama and noticed she highlighted a portion where DFQC appeared to be much bigger than XLH. I don't remember watching that scene. Anyone knows which episode was that?
The only gripe I have about this drama is it's a bit "quiet". I don't hear much music. I remember in the scene where Gyeo Rye was at the seaside, I wish they would just tune up the OST. It was too soft for my liking.

How do you define fail? The only one post-military that I dislike is Melting. That one was really off. But others had their merits. I particularly love Lovestruck and Sound of Magic. This one too. These 3 have depth IMO.
It seems to me you're someone just keen on action and thriller genres cos of those 2 that you cited. Then your choices for enjoying a drama is shallow and it's not fair for you to post a sweeping statement. Just because they aren't popular doesn't mean they're fail.
I usually dislike flashbacks but I like how the writer uses them in this drama without being draggy. Definitely beats spending an episode or 2 as some people have suggested just to tell a backstory.
I just finished watching ep 5. Was too tired last night so had to miss it.
I really like how Nurse Seo explained to Gyeo Rye about why the team deals with the patients' death as we see it. Before watching this drama, I was a bit leery of the theme cos a drama focused on the hospice can be too painful and I wasn't sure I want to deal with another Chocolate cos that one was honestly too heavy for me. So far, I like the way this drama deals with the theme of death. They don't over sensationalize the pain. Rather, the drama leaves me feeling there is more to reflect on how one lives. I find that most healing.
Because people have different opinions and this is the place to express them, despite 'Wookie' (simper, drool)…
You said it! The first comment here does not refer to any actors but is just talking about the drama. Yet some toxic people here just wanna take swipe at a certain actor at every available opportunity. -_-
First half was pretty good. But when the 2nd FL started acting up, it became unwatchable till maybe ep 29 or so. Then it got bad in the last 2 episodes. I just fast-forwarded the last episode and the ending was lame. But that's probably what you get if you have to cut out so many episodes. The censorship makes all their hard work come to naught.
I love galaxy part 1 but when this one came out, I stopped galaxy part 2. Not that it's no good but I think it got a bit heavy. But I finished galaxy part 2 while waiting for new episodes for LBFAD to come out. I love galaxy...it's excellent on many counts so each has its merits. LBFAD is cute but now is getting heavier too. But the plot is interesting and I like that the leads are honest and open with each other.
