Most of the recent ones I don't see him being touchy with them. More like they with him. I could be wrong of course but just based on what I've seen so far.

Watched all 8 episodes and like it so far too. The story and the leads are good to me though I agree the CGI is substandard.

It will never get a 9+ rating. Even his best work that everyone raved about is 8.9. There are some people who would just rate his dramas low for the sake of it.

Yeah, I like the side story of the kids and seeing how YGR interacted with them. I hope they find a good home.

It could be worst! At the beginning of watching this show, I thought the reveal would be KTS was his dad.

I wonder if it's me but every time this drama rise to 8.5, it goes back magically to 8.4 or lower. For that to happen, the new rating(s) has to be very very low. Looks fishy if you ask me.

Quite sick and tired of such comments really. It's not like it's a crime! We don't own him and we should not dictate what roles he takes on. Acting is his profession and he can choose what roles and what impact he likes to make. During a recent interview, he said he does not choose roles just cos his fans want him to do a certain type. I applaud him for being unconventional!

I don't watch many Kdramas lately. Somehow I can't get into them no matter how popular they are or I'll drop them midway. But I always watch JCW's dramas cos he is able to bring the drama to another level.

He doesn't need to play hero characters all the time! Also, what's wrong with portraying "lame" characters? Many real people are lame. I first saw JCW in Empress Ki and that was a major lame character if you ask me. But he was able to bring that lame character to so much life that I rooted for him. I think he was supposed to be SML but somehow he shined so much he was outstanding!

If you cannot respect his choice or have a problem with it, then don't follow his work. Save yourself the agony.

I actually quite like the doctor for some strange reason. At least glad he doesn't pester Nurse Seo and doesn't do stupid things when she rejects him.

Looks like it cos his surname is Yoon and in the flashbacks, KTS asked about his son. Until ep 11, YGR has not seen this man in room 403. I was wondering with the hair and all and years passed, how could he recognize the man as his father? But he probably felt something familiar.

The episodes in terms of time is quite long but doesn't feel so. I always wish each episode can be longer!

And yes, simply love how Nurse Seo is always teasing our YGR. She's atypical for a FL and I like that about her. Unconventionally sassy!

Unfortunately, this genre is not a popular one. But to those of us who like it, it's a great drama. In fact, this is the only K-drama I'm watching.

Is it just me that I noticed some actresses who acted opposite him have the tendency to be "touchy" with him. I'm seeing a lot of slapping of hand, body etc in BTS as well as his new variety show. Not seeing this in a bad way though. Just think there are a lot of familiarities and they must like him enough or be very comfortable with him to do that.

8.5 for the drama, 10 for the leads.

Agree. There were two (excluding current) that I consider as excellent. They were also well received.

Interesting point. I didn't see it as ridiculous though. Cos it's at level 4 and doctors usually are busy attending to patients and would not have time to tour around. As for the thugs, I thought that's why they're called thugs. In some countries I know of, police "work with the thugs" especially in remote places. Also, by the time they call the police, it's a bit late.

Oh and I wonder what our crazy-obsessed Joon Kyung would say to the detractors who love to come over here and irritate us with their boring flopping comments?

Jokes aside, I just want to say there are celebrities and there are actors. Some thrive on popularity while others thrive on their skills. Look at the Wed's slot. There is one renowned actor and he is widely know for his craft. Ratings for his current drama isn't doing so well too and neither is the rating on MDL. But does it make him a lesser actor? NO.

There is an explanation for all the weirdness going around room 403 through the backstory of KTS. What a relief! Btw, 403 in computer lingo means forbidden. This writer is very interesting. So far up to now, I really like how the story is flowing with no major gaps. I really like how the writer intertwines the backstories so well with the current and make all the connections so meaningful. No draggy plots.

And the writer has a great sense of humor with regards to how JCW's personal preferences/profession are brought in. Carrots + Grand Award. Hilarious!

Yup, I like the well-balanced plot so far too. I was worried there are too many elements but it seems they handled it well. I particularly like how they focused on the emotions of the characters. I think that's a strong point for this drama and am glad the actors/actresses all carried their roles so well. Right now, just a bit leery about that mysterious character in the hospice.
