I think it's because the original manga itself just released so not much content yet. If this goes well, sequel is very possible just like Midnight Diner ( it is also produced by MBS).

Actually I'm fine with the way he recites the color shades. But the one that irks me is the one in ep7 in the hotel room when he kinda confesses to YW why he likes him. He said all romantic things but his face and voice are so flat, I can't help thinking he is like reciting the script. Maybe it's supposed to be like that, but personally I can't feel any emotions from it.

I thought ep 5 is rather weak? They spent almost the whole episode trying to get the suspect to talk, but at the end they found out the hiding place just like that? But the actor playing the suspect did great, he was so creepy and annoying I really want to punch his face @_@

By definition, Akaso is the main leading role but it's a bit confusing here in MDL since they only have main role and support role. Machida is the second leading role/main supporting role, so maybe that's why it is put as the main role as well here.
This feels like a half-cooked meal for me, great recipe, great ingredients but the cooking time is not sufficient. Many things left unexplained leaving me puzzled. And am I the only one that think Hyun Jun's acting is rather stiff? He has a pretty face, giving vampire-like vibes but almost expressionless. Some of his lines are very romantic, but he spoke it like reciting the sentences and I don't feel much emotions from it. And I was always distracted by his spotless snow-white skin, if that's really his real face complexion, I'm dying to know his skincare routine XD Positive sides, great production quality and OST! As expected from Korean production.
