Is this fanservice more of Thai things? I don't see it with Japanese fan culture either. If there are cute interactions, it's bc they genuinely have good relationship. On the other hand, China has started to do that kind of fanservices too but labeling it as "bromance" lol. I really hate this kind of forced "sugar", it's very unhealthy for the fans and the actors.

I checked the award website since I was curious, hopefully I got that right :) apparently Galaxy Award is one of the most important awards in Japanese entertainment, no wonder the cast and crew are so happy ^^
More good news! Yesterday CM received Galaxy Monthly Award for the month of Dec 2020 in TV category and making it eligible as candidate for the annual Galaxy Award. It is apparently a prestigious award that all CM casts and director celebrated it on their social media. Machida also mentioned it on his Insta live yesterday. Congrats Cherry Magic!

It would definitely be nice if there is a kiss, but if they are going to do the emotionless fish kiss like Tsuge-Minato, personally I would rather them not having it. Their hugs, hand-holdings and flirting are much more sweet and intimate than dead fish kiss :)

My big question with this drama is: 1. The manga itself only just published in Nov 2020 (1st vol out in March 2021), so most of the story in the drama will be original ones? 2. The incredible speed of the whole casting and production process. If manga just published in Nov 2020, meaning the whole process only takes less than 4 months until broadcast. Machida was also likely to be cast during or after CM broadcast.
I can already picture Machida as the bartender. His soothing, warm voice and his gentle manners definitely suit…
Please don't make us fall for him even further XD this role is also supposed to be a bit mysterious, so different from Kurosawa with all his wild fantasies lol.
