Yes, the change is quite visible over the years. I read her earlier work (Shanghai 1999), the story is good but the drawings really put me off lol. Do you know if she has released any new BL work? She's one of the best in terms of writing mature BL manga, imo.

From what I read, it's about a small bar in Nishi-ogikubo Tokyo where bartender Amamiya, a chef and the owner work. The story will revolve around customers who are having problems in their lives and visit that bar. One of the highlight will be the foods cooked by the chef since it will all be created from canned foods. It kinda reminds me of Shinya Shokudo story, but not sure since I haven't read the manga.

Definitely lol. And surprise surprise, the original manga author, Asai Sai, is also a BL author XD but this work is not tagged as BL though.

The story somewhat a bit similar to Midnight Diner which I enjoy a lot. It's on my must watch list lready! Congrats Machida-kun for the first leading role drama \^^/

If my understanding is correct, Akaso saying "I didn't hate the kiss with you" implies that Adachi has kissed with someone else before. Machida then said that as Kurosawa he was upset when hearing that (he even unconsciously felt like Kurosawa lol). I hope these NG scenes are included in Blu-ray set!

There is a bonus chapter (Hummingbird Rhapsody) written by Mizushiro years after vol 2 (in 2020). It's short but very nice. Her style of drawings has changed a bit too.

Yes, it's adapted into drama in 2018 and movie this year (release Feb 2021). Kino is also another wholesome drama, so different from other typical BL drama out there.

I agree, Japan created far less BL dramas than other countries (despite being the birthplace of BL) but each of them is unique with different themes. The quality has improved a lot too with more and more popular actors taking parts. This year I'm looking forward to Pornographer the movie and Kino nani Tabeta movie.

He's barely visible lol. I'm glad both of them decided to pursue career as actor, I think Machida also will mostly be a dancer if he was still in Generations since he doesn't seem to have talent for singing XD oh and please save it in the vault, it's a rare gem hahaha.

That one is from movie "Jam" he's actually taking care of his comatose gf. That movie is incomprehensible lol. Half of the time I don't understand what's going on. LDH should really start making movie that can be understood by normal people XD
