This is indeed a new category lol. Maybe it's more like shounen-ai rather than yaoi? It used to be categorized as shounen-ai and yaoi, but now it seems that everything is lumped together into BL.

Totally agree with that, even though we still need to give Korea credit for their ability to learn and adapt fast and to create works that appeal to wider audience. It always frustrates me that Japan is a pioneer in many genres, eg: BL, death games, etc but now they are being more and more overshadowed by other countries' works. I even found myself reading more and more Chinese and Korean BL manga than Japanese ones since I find them more interesting (guilty me). Korea is also fast in catching up with BL dramas production, while Japan can only churn out very few each year and a lot of them are low-quality ones, so hopefully KieKoi can help restore our faith once more (after CherryMaho).
I'm excited for this! My hope is just that the two main leads will be able to pull it off since they are still very young and coming from idol background with little acting experience. But finger-crossed they will do well since we are starved for a good BL since Cherry Magic T__T

The previous post has informed very well, as much as possible please try to watch it from the official channel since this drama is one of the very few J-dramas that is actually distributed internationally (thanks to intl fans who were begging endlessly to TV Tokyo). Urban VPN works quite well so you might wanna try it. Otherwise, you can watch it from Irozuku as it is the one doing the fansub (her subs is great!), Dramacool or Kissasian stole her subs without permission (as usual) so I normally avoid those sites unless there is really no other choice.
A totally wholesome BL drama, all characters are likeable even with their own flaws. It's a cliche story, but done right. Light and heartwarming, but with unexpectedly a lot of moral of the story to take away. Cheers to more promising future of KBLs! Note: Shin Woo is DA best boi (along with Kurosawa from Cherry Magic).
Douban rating is out at 7.2, it is a quite high score. Glad that a GL drama is quite well received by C-audience and hopefully we can get more in the future :)

Lesson learnt from all these things, I will never want to get invested in the actors themselves, just stay as fan of their works only. You will never know when your house will collapse or get involved in any scandal, they could literally disappear overnight :(

I dropped this on Ep 10 but still thinking of whether to watch it after all eps are out and see if the story gets better. Well, I guess not lol. I really don't know what's wrong with most scriptwriter of C-dramas, draggy plot, inconsistent characters, plot holes, rushed ending, etc. It's so difficult to find really good and engaging stories among hundreds of dramas produced every year, most of them are just crap :(
