I started this show with expectations of a light and fluffy drama which it kind of delivered but with a lot of uncomfortable moments and basic elements coming in many times.
The storyline was pretty basic nothing too fancy, a cold guy and cheerful girl. The girl was moderately basic and the guy was the definition of basic. He's one of the most controlling characters in drama land. He wants to control everything and the girl had no problems? There are so many controversial things that happened and the girl is just like "yea definitely you can control me and do everything for me while I do nothing, thank you" I absolutely hated the chemistry of the main couple. The first half of the show was illogical and so random honestly...the whole show was pretty random. The middle part I started to like them a little bit but no we're back to confusion, cringe, questionable and controversial things by the end of the show.
The whole show is based on illogical things. The misunderstandings and problems are based on things that literally make no sense. It's like the writer ran out of ideas and will make up anything to make the story complete. It made me question alot of events.
The second lead couples single handedly carried the whole show. Ji siqi was the best character of the show. He's a ball of sunshine. Lu Qing wu is a pretty solid character too. I like her, shes cute and kinda controversial at times but she's definitely more interesting than the main leads. Thier chemistry is so cute. I watched the second half of the show only for them literally skipped all the cringe of the first leads. There were some questions even in the stories of the second lead but it wasn't so bad compared to the first leads. Even the younger sister's story was really good compared to the first leads. These characters made me continue the show.
Only watch this show if you're super bored and have nothing else to do. Great when you're already angry and want to scream at something or if you want to experience how great of a man ji siqi is, I'll do anything for him BEST BOY.

An unusual twist on sports genre

This show looks like an ordinary show about sports, but this is more than about a sport, its about teams and the behind the scenes of a successful sports club.
The writers have done such a phenomenal job on every character. Each have thier time to shine, thier own story and have thier reasons for everything. By the end of the show you'll love each one of the characters. I'll miss all of them so much!
The whole show is very enjoyable with unexpected twists and turns never a dull moment. You wont be able to really take your mind off the storyline!
The actors have done a great job too! Namgoong min is one of my favourite actors, I love how he switches up alot of roles and does such unique dramas. I also loved watching park eun bin who was also there in age of youth that I very much enjoyed watching! All the actors were remarkable and I'd support all of them in the future :)
I also loved how so many problems in the society are highlighted be it psychological or even physical discrimination, in such a subtle way.
The way the team works and thier motivated and pumped up attitudes are so nice to see. It's so nice to see how the team builds up from the ground level of mess to one of the best teams.

Truly refreshing show that shows a whole new perspective on a sports teams.

Interesting and enjoyable, never boring

This show is a whole new world, it's first of all set in 1920s, which means we got some classy western suits and some cute dresses with feathers, hats and all that jazz. The characters were styled very well except for the female lead's hair god that perm was awful.
This show is actually very similar to the way the detective cartoons I used to watch when I was younger but with a bit more creepy and hard to understand cases. So I really enjoyed the way the show was structured.
The bromance between the main leads were really hard to not notice, they're so on your face. It was one of the best parts of the show. We actually got more bromance than actual romance. The relationship between the three leads were extremely wholesome.
Many people seemed to hate on the female lead for simply breathing (caution : if yll watch on viki kindly switch off the timed comments everytime she comes on because the watchers will continuously hate on her and annoy everyone), I dont really hate her, I actually like her for most parts except she is a little immature but so is the male lead but of course we never say anything bad about a male lead :) she isnt the best female lead ever but still, she is actually pretty cute and thier relationship is cute too.
I have to say the second Male lead is literally so charming. His smile and his mannerisms are so cute! His character was super mature and caring. He did so much for others. I will definitely be supporting him in the future!
Hu yi Tian's best acting and best character is this drama! His character is very unique he is a blabber mouth, immature and quirky. You can see he worked really hard by the way he remembered all those hard monologues with scientific terms and facts.
To be honest all the characters are very unique, I really love how such characters I have never seen personally on screen.
The cases were very very enjoyable to watch, very interesting and smart.
I also wanna mention how even though the main lead is a genius, he wasnt shown as perfect, even he made mistakes, he had flaws and developed himself by the end of the series.
The intro song was literally so good, I listen to it on repeat! So addictive!

Now onto what I didn't like, this show was unrealistic. In so many levels. I dont think woman had jobs at that point of time. I dont think the female lead and so many other female characters were allowed to be so active in society. The show would have made more sense if it was set in the modern era, but the cases were solved without technology so that wouldn't work either.
There were apparently alot of questionable things like face masks in 1920s??? Traffic in 1920s?? And apparently god father ost in 1920s??
Some points in the cases I used to question some things like it was almost impossible for some things to happen.
I dont like how the show started, without any introduction just out of no where we were introduced to random things! It's so abstract.
There were some problematic scenes like landlady was extremely rude and lowkey sexually assaulting the main lead but nobody hates her! They still only hate the female lead, I was seriously so annoyed.
The inspector was actually so bad at his job though, it didn't sit right with me at how corrupt and favouring the whole political system was, though it was set in 1920s and china was a mess at that time I understand that. Still the inspector is so bad at his job lmao. If it wasnt for the main lead he would have solved no cases.
After a point the murders started to be very easy to guess like it was too easy! I wanted something different!
Overall I enjoyed this show alot! I reccomend for a thrilling and interesting experience :)

This show till date is one of the most confusing shows ever! It'll keep you on the edge of your seat at all times, keep you questioning and always making theories.
The show has a good concept but wasn't executed well enough in my opinion. It starts off pretty well and dives right into the story without properly introducing the characters well, which I found little iffy, still didn't make me loose interest or anything. The middle few episodes were really really mess! oh my gosh!these episodes were not even needed, they dragged it a lot. It made me want to stop watching sometimes. Still,I held on,and the last four episodes were a treat, very good ending, plot twist and character development.
The acting was as expected ,good they are both amazing and did their part very well. The osts were nothing special tbh,it was a little flat.
overall would recommend if you are looking for something interesting :)

fluff!! perfect for a one time watch

Chinese dramas always have the weirdest plots especially around animals and I'm really not complaining! This is one of the good ones.
The show description looks like it's gonna be childish but they really made it work, somehow this show was pretty interesting and full of fluff. It's nothing too life-changing but perfect for a one-watch. The story has a few flaws here and there. But overall it makes it fun and cute throughout.
The relationship of the leads is so cute! I love how the female lead learned things quickly. The male lead was also kinda different from what is usually seen, his character development was nice to see.
There are no parts where I was bored or felt annoyed per se, which is great. But the fact that the drama is kinda hollow and doesn't do justice for some parts of the storyline is what leads me to reduce points. There are also some tropes thrown in when the writer got nothing else to write about.
Inconsistency in the storytelling was so evident which made me a bit confused about the story.
I love the actors! They all did so well especially the female lead. She's extremely pretty and a human "cat" character suited her very well! The casting is very well done.
The osts are all pretty and relaxing! I enjoyed hearing them.
Overall a good watch. Would recommend.

a very refreshing romcom

This show is light, fluffy, and fun. It seemed like it's gonna be nothing too deep, but in its own way it teaches you a lot and touches up some social problems along the way.
The drama started off extremely well, I was enjoying their dynamics and the situations they were thrown into. I thought the main couple had amazing chemistry! The female lead's character was very different from your average female lead. She was open, expressive and always communicated her feelings. Very refreshing if you ask me!
The humor in the drama was very entertaining. The relationships of the leads with others were very cute! I loved the friendship of the female lead and her friends. I like how normalized women and men being friends are shown.
The issues of treating women as objects were unexpectedly touched on, I was quite impressed.
The couple had a very healthy relationship, always conveyed their feelings, took consent, and were very respectful to each other. This is a rare concept in the drama world.
Seonwoo's character development was the best part of the drama, I also loved doyeon, who always brought a smile to my face. The siblings were cute.
Kang Hana who played a completely different character in start-up, did a 180° change, this role suited her so well, I loved her character! Her relationship with the do jae jin was fun too!
The casting was really well done, the actors all did a great job. Osts, especially the one sung by Jeong Se Woon was a whole new world, it's so magical.
Now, on to the nitpicking. The chemistry of the leads progressively reduced. Her calling her "sir" when they are dating?? It is the most awkward thing I have witnessed in my life. Also, them dating as professor/student was so uncomfortable for me, that was the point I started to nitpicking.
Their chemistry from super refreshing and cute turned into a business relationship. I really didn't feel much by the end of it all. Though there were some cute things here and there that saved the ratings.
The storyline also started dragging a little, with some boring aspects that I ended up skipping.
Overall a fun drama, I'd recommend it for someone looking for something light.

No substance, very frustrating

This drama was made with great aspirations of the writers to make it as close to reality as possible. But I'd say, they failed, pretty badly.
It starts off with a nice concept of "taking interviews" which I thought was interesting. But no matter how much I think this interview was the most illogical and far from reality concept ever. Did these "interviewers" go around interviewing the whole of Seoul? If they didn't try to explain the phenomenon of the interview I would have let this slide. But every character was told about what others said..it was a mess. The way they tried to explain the interviews was what made it overall dumb. Let's just say I'm nitpicking, but other than this was there no problems? Nope, there were.
The whole show had no substance other than one man crying over why she left and another crying thinking about how she hates herself and needs to punish herself and him for her shortcomings, not even explaining to him. This concept is pretty common in dramas but the problem is that's the main concept of the drama. It was just frustrating and annoying.
The second couple were cute, they had their moments. But they went and ruined it in the end.
*spoiler alert*
Let's just say the open ending isn't the problem but the fact that she was being super illogical and I completely support the second male lead in the matter about why they broke up.
The 3rd couple was just ¿¿¿¿¿ like what was going on I have no idea. They did so many illogical things unprovoked.
The couple in the first few episodes had chemistry, they were kinda cute. But um talk about an unrealistic relationship, suddenly he loves her and then they marry??? Like wtf??? And then she runs away?? All in like a month or two. Even though I know she has a reason, I hate the whole concept. The show is such a mess istg.
Another problem is how I never related to any of the characters especially the women, they did dumb things unprovoked. The men were more bearable, but no one was interesting enough for me except maybe goan.
We also had minho on the show, I really didn't get his purpose honestly. Suddenly when the writer had nothing else to talk about, we saw almost the whole episode with minho. I could see the writer struggling with absolutely nothing to write about.
The best part of the show was the scenery and the way it was shot. I love the filters too. It also had some interesting music sung by some great artists which were nice.
The point about different relationships and how people love was what the writer was trying to convey, that point was interesting, but the way it was presented was awful.
There were some cute and funny scenes here and there that made up for the mess like 20%.
But the show is pretty bad.

Inspiring woman and cute relationships between each character

Moonlight shows the story of a high spirited, hard working woman who dreams of working as a book editor in a famous yet old publishing house.
The best part of the story is the female lead. She's unstoppable and never gives up. She puts her dreams first and does everything to achieve it. Her character is so full of life and inspiring. Her work ethics are so ideal and she always sticks to them. On top of all that shes extremely beautiful and cute.
The close second best thing is the bromance, the two male leads have the cutest bromance ever, they're always looking for each other to express every problem they face and claim they hate each other lol gotta love them. I really love how petty they are to each other and how they help each other when ever they can.
The show is full of fluff, it has a few cliches here and there, but they dont really bother you much.
The work side of the show was very interesting, I loved watching her grow and stand up for her authors, always supporting and never giving up on them.
I really liked the authors stories and even the story of the female boss of the female lead.
Now onto the negative aspects of the show, the male lead is lowkey possessive, extremely petty and I wouldn't say I really liked him as a character. His personality is something I dont find attractive. Sometimes he was just annoying and I didn't understand why the female lead likes him so much.
Some of the work problems faced by the female lead was many times solved with the help of the male lead and that lowkey bothered me.
The second lead's relationship was a mess, they went off and on so many times I wanted to fast forward many parts. Sometimes there was no logic to thier decision and I was just confused.

Overall the show was pretty entertaining and cute, I enjoyed watching it and would recommend it when you're looking for something light.

Very insightful, cute and fun for the most part

Mad for each other is a surprising good drama especially because I didn't expected much from it. It surprisingly was very insightful.
It revolves around the story of a woman who is diagnosed with delusion and a man who suffers from pted (aka anger, aggressive behaviour in reaction to negative life events especially if they think its unfair to them). This aspect itself sets it apart from the rest of the dramas that never showcase such topics. A life of a person with delusion is shown so well, it was so heartbreaking to see the female lead suspect everything including herself. But pted wasnt so well shown, his problem was mostly ignored except the first few and last few episodes.
The reasoning of why both of them are the way they were was satisfying to watch especially the female lead. The female lead's story was so well portrayed and really made me empathize with her.
It clearly showed how mental illness affects the life of people, such clear portrayal is literally never shown in a drama. You could see how positive bright, hard working and competent the leads were before the illness. It showed clearly that mental illness doesn't just "go away" if you just "stop being sad, stop worrying, stop being anxious " and how much work you need to actually put in to treat yourself.
The drama also touches upon personal choices of how a person likes to present themselves.
The chemistry of the leads and how the relationship develops is really nice to watch and they're super cute together. The acting was pretty good along with iconic looks like flower behind the ears and sunglasses, will never forget it!
The osts were all good too I'd probably come back to them.
Now this was gonna be a 9 or 9.5 rated drama for me but then 11th episode happened and things started to go downhill. Literally all the hardwork the writer put in to build such a great plotline was lost by the ridiculous progression of the story.
From 11th to finale, the show was a mess with no logical reasoning, no problems solved, and rushing of the story like the writer didn't know how to proceed. We had random car chasing like its mission impossible, some random arguments, random singing on the street etc. The ending was happy but it didn't give me the satisfaction the first 10 episodes gave me.
Mad for each other is a small drama with 13 ep of around 40 mins, it is quite insightful and I think it is worth it though the ending is not so well done. I recommend it.

So not worth it is a small show, it's cute, fun and enjoyable. Best when u are stressed and want to just relax.
So not worth it is not complex in its story or its characters, they're both basic but the show has some kind of charm. The fact that we have a bunch of foreigners speaking korean is quite refreshing. This show is very disney like, made me a little nostalgic. It has a bit of waikiki vibes in its humor. All around its enjoyable.
The osts and the bgm were are cute and I would definitely go back to some osts.
The fact that it is basic and has nothing special to it is the reason why it's gotten some points cut. Some scenes were lowkey annoying and dumb but nothing too bad.
It's a cute drama to binge watch in a day!

Voice is a above average crime thriller drama with a very good background story, plot and interesting cases.
While watching this drama there is not one dull moment, it always keeps you on your toes. If not the adrenaline rush, its anger or frustration. There is always an emotion.
Each case always has a twist and it's not always what you think and this keeps you more hooked to the show.
The actors in this drama have done a fine job at portraying thier characters. Kim jae wook and jang hyuk especially.
The bgm and osts are pretty nice to hear but I personally felt at times that they didn't match the scenes.
The female characters is actually one of the coolest characters I have ever seen on drama land. she's strong, smart and rational. Her abilities and skills are mind blowing. I really can't wait to watch her again in the next season.

But I feel the opposite about the male lead's character. He was extremely emotional, impulsive and kinda hypocritical. His lines consist of mainly 2 words and he its really hard to hear him swear at every person he meets expect his son. Most of the frustration happened due to his meaningless actions.
Though the overall storyline is solid, the small inconsistencies and plot conveniences are present all through the story.
Still I would say it's worth it. It's entertaining and interesting to watch.

Light yet deep, full of laugh out loud moments

Changed my whole perspective on politics, election and legislative assembly.
This drama revolves around the female lead taking part in the election and how the real legislature actually works. The behind the scenes of such institutions taught me so much about how hard it is to actually work in these institutions and how much of a mind game this can be.
Starting from the fact that this drama revolved around goo sera, a woman in a political world itself sets this drama apart from the million others. The story is really well written. The humor and chemistry of the couple is so fkn cute. The male lead was no way conventional, he was caring, smart and kind. A hard worker to the core. He is a gem for sure! I really enjoyed almost all characters, they were all super funny and also had some meaning and realness in them. The show has a very different vibe.
The osts were all very good. I loved the ost sung by siyeon! Such a mood booster and motivator.
The first half of the show was so enjoyable that I binged alot but the middle part became a little boring which is why my ratings went down.I had to force myself to continue watching.
But regardless of that flaw, I enjoyed watching this alot, highly recommended if you wanna learn something, laugh out loud and experience some (alot) of pettiness of politicians lmao. This is a perfect drama to fit the romantic comedy genre.

so so~

This drama is very light with some basic storylines and overused aspects. It's a filler, nothing too special.
The whole drama was shot beautifully and the scenes were all super aesthetic starting from the intro itself. The starting episode was the only time I actually felt the main couple were cute, after that the chemistry just decreased with each episode. The support characters like the best friend nan joo, secretary and also the second lead couple saved the drama from literally dying. They were the only reason I watched. Personally my favourite character is nan joo, her character had such a nice relationship and she was confident, supportive and kind no matter what! Yang woo jin the secretary was also so cute and protective of the male lead, loved him. The second leads were the reason I watched the drama for like 5 episodes in the middle. The acting that I really I enjoyed was of jung soo kyo (kim bum soo), truly such great performance by him! The characters were actually pretty cute. The male lead was swoon worthy and the female lead was kind and cute always.
The first episode was the most chaotic and messy episode of a show I have watched in my life. The writer really added as much as you can possibly add in an hour time slot,so remarkable, how did she do that?
The story contains the same old drama troupes, we have a memory loss, a white truck of death, misunderstandings, crazy Chaebols chasing for money and power, some (alot) hiding of burdens and choosing to do everything by themselves to not hurt the other etc etc.
The story has literally no logic what so ever just keep your brain from working and take it as it comes.
The osts were from bad to mediocre. Nothing much to talk about I enjoyed 2 out of 6.
Overall a forgettable drama (pun intended), but it was entertaining didn't hate it.

A one time watch

Forever love looks like its gonna be alot of fluff and meaningless, but isn't.
It has a particular charm to it. The acting of the actors actually surprised me, to think that they are around 20 years of age in real life, mindblown. They have huge potential and will probably become big in the future, I'm already calling it.
The story isnt all too mindblowing but the small things about the show make it better, I love how they showed *spoiler* zhang fei cleverly as someone who is extremely low on self confidence therefore takes it out on others. It's such a realistic view of a person who is hurt and therefore finds the need to hurt others. You cant really hate her even though she has negative undertones. Very interesting take that makes the audience understand her.
The chemistry was extremely pure, maybe a little too pure, but still cute. They had alot of fluff moments.
The show is actually kinda interesting, the relationships of the different leads make it better. Xiao xi and zhang han both have very cute friend groups, they were goals.I loved the other characters like Duan ning, qiu yan and huai wu. Humor was also on point. The first few episodes were actually really really good.

Now for the things I dont like. The show is unrealistic, starting from the title lmao. The male lead takes the name of marriage and start ups like it's some game. The show is I think is filtered for like age 8 or something because there are no realistic scenes in love, almost all kiss scenes are toned down or cut (didn't quite understand why). I heard people talking about how the couple were "mature". I never thought once that they were mature, they were actually the opposite. They hid things from each other apparently not to worry the other, took things that they cant handle in thier own hands and suffered meaningless pain that would have reduced if they just shared it.
The writing is mediocre, they repeat problems in the show itself and also old drama troupes keep popping up everywhere. The dialogues are unrealistic and not that well written. Its basically recycled storylines. The love triangles, squares and hexagons were not that enjoyable either it was kinda frustrating. The second half of the show made me loose interest and frustrated.
The second lead couple kept me interested in the show for like 5 episodes and then I hated both of them, though they were kinda cute. Nothing too fresh about thier storyline either.

Overall a time pass drama, nothing too deep, a little frustrating but bearable.

Family show, at it's best, doesn't get better.

This is hands down one of the best family shows I have ever seen. The story and especially the characters are so well written, they all seem like real humans living life like everyone else, I was extremely happy with the way this show portrayed every kind of relationship with family. It was truly addictive and entertaining and made sure I cried BUCKETS of tears in most of the episodes, this much i have never cried while watching a show. I'll take a long time to get over this.
I would first like to start off with each and every character that I grew to love with the 40 episodes that I watched.
Li jianjian- she's literally one of the cutest female lead's I have ever seen! I'm so in awe of her. She's so sweet, optimistic and caring about her brothers and fathers. Shes so mature and supportive of everyone in her life and easily wins hearts of everyone.
Ling xiao - hes your typical brother who pretends to not care about you but does things for you secretly haha! I really liked his character too. The pain he went through really touched my heart and song wei long portrays this character so wonderfully even though hes like a 99 liner! Hes so young, yet so good at acting!
Ziqiu- I personally love ziqiu's character alot! He holds a special place in my heart. Hes such a sweet supportive brother! Always letting his sister do what she wants and cleaning up her mess! From when he was a child he was extremely mature and so sweet to everyone. I must say I cried the most for ziqiu. His story was truly so so emotional.
Li haichao- dad li is the best parent in dramaland, I'm not even kidding. Hes the best human and best dad. The love he has for his family is the definition of unconditional. His kindness is truly never seen before. I aspire to be like him in life. Always wishing well and taking care of others around him.
Ling heping- dad ling, even though wasnt around most of the time, he always cares for his kids, does small things and supports them. His small gestures towards his son really makes you see how good of a person he is.
Honestly, these are the main characters but even the side characters are dived deep into and we see them grow into better people too. This is one of the best parts of the show.
Story line of the show is perfectly paced, not too slow not to fast and timeline is also perfect ( 99,09,19). The show has perfectly portrayed everyone's stories with alot of details. We can see that the writer really worked hard to put together such a wonderful story.
Now for what really made me reduce my rating is the romance aspect. It's not that I hated the idea of it but the way they executed it really put me off. For a few episodes I was extremely confused. It just came out of nowhere and was rushed with a little bit of loopholes here and there. But after there 3 4 episodes I got used to it and moved on. I do understand the purpose of it though. Still could have been done better.
Other than this small thing that I didn't enjoy, this show was perfect. I literally reccomend everyone to watch it. It's a piece of art :)
