Wow...I was totally blown away by how good this movie was. I got sucked into the movie straight away and the suspense and the thrills just did not let up. May be the story is nothing original but the execution was absolutely top notch. I couldn't fault neither the acting or directing and the action scenes did not disappoint either. The only thing I think could have been better is more character development and comprehensive background story.

I am surprised that not many people have reviewed this movie or have given better rating because as a suspenseful action movie goes, this movie definitely exceeded my expectations.

I just rewatched this drama and unbelievably it's actually better than I remembered it to be. The stories, writing, directing, acting and music are all perfect. My favourite genre is crime and I have watched many crimes series but this KDrama is outstanding.

An awesome movie! It’s a straightforward one man against the bad guys story but it was done with style. Won Bin’s portrayal of Cha Tae-Si is perfect and he looks fabulous in fighting scenes. The interactions between Cha Tae-Si and So-Mi, the little girl in trouble is sweet. This is a well-done action movie because you end up caring about what happens to Cha Tae-Si and So-Mi. It’s so sad to think that may be there are some children living like So-Mi. It’s a rare thing when an action movie actually makes you think.

I stumbled onto this movie because I think Oguri Shun is a good actor and I wanted to see him in something prior to ‘Border’. I am so glad that I found this little gem of a movie. There are many over the top awesome action scenes, some great characters and a good simple story. This movie was simply FUN to watch, there are some hilarious scenes but surprisingly it has heart as well. It was a thoroughly enjoyable movie to watch and Oguri Shun is fabulous as Genji.

My KDrama addiction started with City Hunter. It’s not a perfect drama but it has a good story, great action, humour and a cute romance. All the characters are likeable and they are well portrayed by all the actors. The pace of the drama is consistent and every episode is thoroughly entertaining. I would highly recommend this drama to anyone who wants more than just a rom-com.

This is an absolutely breathtakingly beautiful drama and it totally took me by surprise of how good it was.

Story:
Not the most original story but, the execution was perfect. This was my first Chinese historical drama but the amazing thing was that, I got sucked into it from the first episode. Somehow, it didn't feel foreign at all. Scarlet Heart deals with a throne succession and the complex political factions within the royal family. However, this drama is more about the people and their relationships. I think this was the reason why it was so addictive and compelling.

Acting/Cast:
Most of the cast portrayed their characters brilliantly. I've never cried as much as I did watching this drama. The actors were so good that whenever they cried, I cried with them. I know that often dramas use many tactics to make the audience cry but at no point did I feel like I was being manipulated into crying.

Writing:
Gosh, this is one drama I wished that I could understand Chinese. Even though I watched it with subtitles, the dialogues were simply beautiful. I can only imagine how much was lost in translation. I often teared up just from the things that the characters said. The characters were developed really well and so none of them were just good or bad. They were more like people who made bad choices sometimes due to circumstances or misunderstandings.

I found this drama to be incredible moving, because I could actually feel the love and the warm friendships between the characters.

Second season is still great and it leaves you wanting more. The only negative thing I could say about it is that, I wish they dealt with ‘F’ more. I really like the character developments of the four main leads and I hope romance does not develop between the characters, Yeo Ji-Hoon and Nam Ye-Ri because I like the unresolved tension between them.

This drama has dark and gritty vibe that suit the story. The character, Doctor's Son is the ultimate badass gangster with brains. I think Jung Kyoung Ho was perfect as Doctor's Son. The action scenes were really well done. The storyline got a little bit repetitive but overall, thoroughly enjoyable drama. If this is an example of dramas shown on cable TV, then I've been missing out.

This is now one of my favourite dramas. It is a simple drama about people but really done well. The writing, directing and acting were all fabulously executed. I've never watched a drama where all the characters were so likeable as this. The way Korean food was presented here, just made me salivate every episode and I wonder whether the actors gained weight during the filming of this drama. I thoroughly enjoyed watching this drama and would recommend it to anyone looking for a light drama that makes you appreciate the simple things in life.

First of all, don't let the heavy use of CGI to fool you. I nearly didn't watch this because I thought it was a badly done movie. Luckily, I kept watching it because it turned out to be a great movie.

The story may not be entirely original but, it unfolds beautifully. At first glance, this movie appears to be all action and no substance. But boy does it have substance. The movie deals with war, people's desires and friendships. I was really pleasantly surprised with the character developments, and all the actors did a great job of depicting their characters. The action scenes were over the top but they were fun.

What makes this movie a 10/10? This movie simply moved me, I felt for the characters, it made me think about wars and it made my heart ache. It was a thoroughly enjoyable viewing, I hope you give it a go as well.

I nearly didn’t watch this drama because of so many bad reviews I’ve read on blogs. But I decided give it a go, because of Jo In Song. And I got hooked from the first episode. I liked the tone of the drama as well as all the characters. Yes, I admit that there wasn’t anything original or unpredictable about the drama but it gave me exactly what I wanted. Nicely played out romance and the story was consistent. It was much better than I had expected it to be.

I don’t normally watch dramas that go beyond 24 episodes because I get bored quickly. However, I couldn’t believe how every 28 episode of this drama maintained the fast pace with consistently interest story.
The acting wasn’t the best but somehow the writing and the directing was so tight that it didn’t matter. Joo Won portrayed Lee Kang-To fabulously but I felt Jin Se-Yeon was very wooden as Mok Dan.
The story was very compelling and I was moved to tears many times.
This is one of the best KDrama I’ve watched so far.

Marry Me, or Not? is the best Taiwanese drama that I've watched so far.

The first few episodes didn't quite grab me but by episode 4, I was totally hooked.

The chemistry between Chiu Roy and Ke Alice was off the charts. They really sizzled on screen and their interactions were heartfelt.

The cinematography was beautifully done and the music was also very appropriate to each scene.

I loved the acting by all the cast, especially Ko Grace. She turned out be a very interesting mother-in-law to be. The character developments were the highlights of this drama. The characters felt real and their behaviours were understandable which is rare in a drama.

This is my first drama with Roy Chiu, and wow, he was fabulous. The man can act, he can do funny, sexy, charming and vulnerable.

I would highly recommend this drama to anyone interested in watching a lovely romantic drama with interesting and realistic characters.
