I had high expectations since the moment I watched the trailer. At the time there were no subs, well, not proper ones, so I had to wait until I could watch it. It turned out that the drama as a whole was not as good as the trailer made it seem. There was not enough focus on the show with several episodes in a row barely mentioning it, the relationship between the main leads, although with the premise of a romance, it looked more like a really good friendship and the actual romance happened a lot later than I expected. The ending felt a little rushed and somehow incomplete, almost like the story needed a second season or at least 1 more episode.
I enjoyed the last few episodes and several other moments. Unfortunately I am not sure if those were as many as the ones I felt like nothing was happening and the story was going nowhere.
Conclusion: This was good, just not as good as I expected. I should really stop watching trailers and creating high expectations before watching something.
Hi sorry but can u mark this as spoiler because point number 4 is a spoiler sorry and thank you
Hi. Really? I wrote this 4 months ago so I am not sure but I think his mother shows her interest in them getting together since episode 1, wasnt she even the one who presented the female lead to her son with the intent of getting them together? Like I said, I dont remember for sure but I think this was shown since the beginning. Anyway, I will mark it as a spoiler just in case. Thank you for telling me.
I agree, it's not a very interesting show if you binge watch it but I think I only found it more interesting was…
Yeah, I have proved from personal experience that watching a drama while it airs can frustrate you because of the wait but makes the drama more interesting than binge-watching it. But this one I would not have loved even if I watched it while it was airing. I just feel the second half is disconnected from the first half in so many ways, almost like a different person was writing the script. The focus of the story changes drastically and it turned out to be just like many other dramas I have watched and with less romantic scenes so I got bored. :(
I liked some of it. I like the main couple and some if not most of the supporting characters BUT I was looking for romance, and although this has it, the story seemed to focus more on the villain and Bank trying to stay alive throughout the episodes and the villain always getting away with everything or almost everything made the story really draggy and boring. I even had to put it on hold for about a week when I was only 4 episodes away from the ending. And those 4 episodes were full of skippable scenes so I watched them in a couple of hours.
I'm on 2nd episode right now and it is hilarious seeing the fake ocean scenes.... They come from the ocean practically…
Not sure. I dropped it after 2 episodes. But from what I read and from some scenes I saw from future episodes, I don’t like him (not the actor, but the character he plays). He seems arrogant, kind of a jerk and super flirty, the kind that would easily cheat on his girlfriend even if he "loves" her.
There were some highlights to this, like the ones I mention in the spoiler below. But as a whole, this was hard…
- The friend and friend’s mother that saved the female lead and that in any other drama would have turned on her because of some sort of jealousy (be it work related or men related) are actually the people who help her almost every time she is down, since the first episode;
- The relationship between the second main leads was actually more interesting and easier to watch than the main lead’s. Just wished there was more romance between them and that they got together earlier;
- The female lead’s sister, even with all her faults, was actually the one who seemed to care about the female lead. It might not seem that obvious in the first few episodes but you will see that as she keeps insisting with her mother in asking why she treats Kae differently from her other children;
- The male lead had the cutest dimples and clearly loved the female lead and knew in his heart that he would never be able to like another woman like that. Yet he did let his parents and fellow annoying female trash interfere with their relationship and hold him back.
There were some highlights to this, like the ones I mention in the spoiler below. But as a whole, this was hard to swallow since I am tired of seeing main leads that let other people treat them as their punching bag.
Even when it was supposed to be more dramatic or sad, this was never really heavy like other thai dramas I have watched. It always had a comedy feeling to it be it in the songs, the characters facial expressions, what they said and what they did. So overall it was a nice watch. Not amazing but it stood out a little from the other thai dramas I have recently watched.
I more or less liked it at first but then about halfway through everything went in a direction that I have seen way too many times, that is frustrating and boring to watch and that did nothing for me really. If they had kept it the way they were doing the first half I would have liked this a lot more, but they completely changed the focus of the story to something I personally thought was very cliché and draggy and in my opinion ruined the story and buried it in the mountain of so many other thai dramas.
he doesn't actually divorce her till the end but about halfway through the drama something happens so the wife…
Ok, got it. She cheated and he did not divorce just so they could do it once she wakes up, yup, its more acceptable, although still a little frustrating. What if she never woke up from the coma?! The divorce would never happen. Poor female lead. I might give it a try now that the relationship between the main leads is not as morally bad as I thought. I can’t stand relationships that begin while one or both people are still in a relationship with someone else, especially if they are married. Yikes.

Thank you for replying. I dont mind the spoilers since I have not even decided if I am going to watch it or not. If he only divorces his wife at the end, the only way I am ok with him getting together with the female lead while still married is if his wife is cheating on him and ran away with some other man or something...or if she dies, but then he would not really need to divorce her. Lol Otherwise I can only see it as an unfair situation for the female lead since one way or another he carries the title of a married man. ;( So yeah, I dont mind more spoilers about what happens with the wife that causes her to not be present. Even if I decide to watch it, it will probably be only in a few months since I have other dramas to watch first and by then I will probably have forgotten any spoilers. :)
I am trying to decide whether to watch this or not. Give me some spoilers. Until when does he stay married to his wife and does he get together with the female lead while married or after getting a divorce?
On netflix! https://www.netflix.com/title/81087124
Maybe its not available in my country yet because when I clicked the link it took me to the netflix featured page and the drama was nowhere to be seen. :(
totally agree with his personality. it was nice to see how his personality was consistent throughout and he didn't…
And I liked that he knew when to be responsible and mature even if most of the time he was kind of childish and did not know how to express himself, that just made him more charming. It has been some time since I developed a crush on a dramaland male lead, I have come across a lot of arrogant jerk CEOs.
True. I think it was the first drama of the kind that I watched. At first I was not even sure if I was liking it or hating it but I binge-watched it and re-watched it less than a year later so I guess I did like it. XD
It is definitely not a drama I can give a high rating and say it is a masterpiece, because it isnt, it is actually more of a parody, but one that was well made and that keeps the viewers entertained to the point they forget how ridiculous the actual plot and characters are.

Thank you for explaining. ;)
