DO NOT WATCH THIS if you are looking for a nice romance. DO NOT WATCH THIS if you are looking for a tragedy that brings some kind of moral of the story.
The romance is unhealthy most of the time and hardly sincere, at least on the male lead’s side. Almost all of the characters are either evil or have done something wrong that brought serious consequences to others. The female lead started strong but soon became just like all the other women he dated...blind and stupid. And the ending, well, you see that tag up there that says Tragedy, right? I don’t need to say anything else.
Watch at your own risk and be prepared as you will either really like it (I guess it is possible looking at the rating) or regret watching it (the psychological tag is there for a reason, and this tag can also be translated as "not everyone’s cup of tea").
I liked it. It was not amazing but it was different since we had an airport as the background scenario. The things that happened and the way some people behaved were very realistic and were probably based in real life situations that have happened in airports. The romance was nice. The security team members were an interesting addition that I surprisingly enjoyed - more than the characters that worked directly with the main leads.
I do have to say the last 2 episodes were lacking in many ways. A lot of things were illogical or not explained properly, if at all. In the last episode they used one cliché that we see in A LOT of dramas, mainly at the end, and that I felt was completely unnecessary and even illogical. Although at first I thought the female lead was the one who was stubborn and had some dumb decision making, the last part of the drama, specially the last few episodes, revealed that the male lead could be like that too and in situations one would expect him to use his brain cells to think about the consequences of his stubbornness.
So overall I liked it, but that does not mean I did not see it’s flaws.
With this link you should be able to watch it from the website, no need to download. Wait for the page to fully load and you will be able to see the player.
Ugh, seeing the Infidelity tag really puts me off. I hate cheating. I am also not comfortable with a character dating someone when he/she knows he/she has feelings for someone else. Does it have anything like this? I don’t mind spoilers.
This is the perfect example how lack of focus on the main characters and giving too much screen time to "supporting" characters can suck out the fun of a drama. Yeah, I said "supporting" with " " because I believe they actually had more screen time than the leads. Also, if you add it all, there is not even 1 episode worth of romantic scenes between the main leads, the supporting characters is another story. The romance between Pen and Visoot took over the entire drama. It was like they were trying to give us 2 main stories in 1 drama but for me that did not work. I feel that these 2 plots do not belong in the same drama, they should have either focused on one couple or the other. I remember one of the later episodes, the first 30 minutes of the episode were all showing Pen and Visoot, with the main leads nowhere to be seen.
For me this was a drama that had everything to be interesting, but turned out to be one I just had to fast-forward several times so I could actually watch the main leads. Completely let down. Btw, its Channel 3, don’t expect kisses, between the main couple not even fake ones.
Someone has started subtitling on YouTube for the China Zone channel.
Thank you. It seems only the first episode is subbed so far but since this started airing just this month, I will be patient and wait for it to be all subbed before I start watching.
Unfortunately, I have to say this followed the same path many other kdramas do. It had an interesting start, kept it going for at least the first half but then it started to use some clichés that you were already expecting before it even happened. The ending was lacking, it was not bad but it was nothing special either. But overall it was still an enjoyable drama.
P.S. - The only similarity between this and the movie is the fact that she regularly changes into a different person. So liking one does not necessarily mean you will like the other. I thought the movie was ok but it was not my cup of tea. For me the drama was a little better. You might think the opposite way or thing they are both equally good/bad.
There were some sweet moments and comic relief but most of it was pure frustration. The characters were not only annoying but some of them, mostly the main leads, were not consistent. Their behaviour did not match their personality or at least what was showed to us as being their personality in the beginning. One of the things that tilted me was how the male lead kept complaining about the female lead spending time with other men even if there were other people there and they were not alone, when he himself went around with his "lover" openly for anyone to see when people already knew he was married to someone else. His indecision and lack of action was disrespectful to both the female lead and the other woman. He also showed he was not able to keep most of his promises and failed in his duty of protecting the female lead most of the time.
I am sorry that I did not see this as wonderful like some people did, but this is definitely not the kind of romance I enjoy. In my opinion, the sweet moments were not enough to compensate for the painful ones.
You’re welcome! Me too. When they break up at the end or one of them dies I get this feeling as if all the time I spent watching it was for nothing. And I cry easily too so I try to stay way from the Tragedy tag. Happy endings with the main leads together are just what I want.
