LOL, I dropped it a while ago and it's the only one in my dropped list still airing.
I rarely drop dramas myself. Even when it starts to drag, I would rather force myself to watch even if I skip some scenes just so I can know how it ends and feel like I accomplished the hard task of finishing it. But this one made me drop it after watching the first few minutes of the first episode. ^^'

This drama is on Kisskh. Kisskh usually have good subbing on their dramas
I know, it is one of the main sites I use to watch dramas. It has been there for months but it is with the mgtv subs.

As far as I know they don’t actually sub anything, they are just really fast at uploading the episodes, faster than some of the other sites. I have yet to find this drama with proper subs anywhere, it is always with the awful mgtv subs.

Pls don't let the 1st ep fool you, if you see my post below, it's actually an adorable drama despite their cringeworthy…
I have accumulated quite a lot of dramas since I have been busy, but when I have nothing to watch I might give this a second chance.

But really, what were the directors thinking when they made the first episode like that, for some reason it felt like watching Teletubbies. ^^'

Oh my, I tried but I could not even get past the first episode. I have seen quite a few low budget dramas with a good plot and acting, but this is just so cringe, something I could imagine myself watching back when I was 5 years old. I only watched the first episode but it almost felt like this was made with kids in mind, it feels very childish. The costumes, the sounds, the editing in general, I cannot get past these things and enjoy the drama.

I do not mean to hate on the drama or anything, if you enjoy it, I am glad you are able to keep watching, but I just can’t.

Title Scent of Time Spoiler
I knew pretty early on that this was all a dream. I don’t remember the exact episode but it was after the 2nd or 3rd time she mentioned smelling something. Yet, I cried like a baby almost the entire last episode.

When you watch a 30 episode drama, it is hard not to connect to the characters. As the FL "redeemed" herself and fell in love, I felt all those emotions with her. Finding out everything was a dream, her entire family is dead, her maid is dead and the man she loves does not even exist, if I was her I would just want to die. What is the point of living if everyone you care about is dead or never existed in the first place? I could really understand why she was in a coma for so long and would rather stay in the dream instead of facing real life.

With that said, the actress playing the FL did a great job and this one really hit me hard on the feels, BUT it was far from perfect. Most characters were unlikable or felt very superficial and the romance was not my cup of tea. I was watching just for the FL, she was carrying the entire thing on her back.

Title Miraculous Brothers Spoiler
i just binged the entire show and kind of wish they did the finale differently. I thought they would send Kangsan…
I was also expecting that. What was the point of showing his hands becoming transparent if he was going to stay in that timeline? The ending was rushed and some things were left unexplained or were not explained properly.

Started pretty interesting, but it had many slow moments like boring conversations between the writer and his boss or between the villains.

Kang San also did not shine as much as he could. In the first few episodes we saw him use his powers to help people and these powers could have also been used several other times to help with the investigation but for most of the drama his character almost took a backseat and his powers served no purpose until near the end.

There were also a few things that were left unexplained or had a rushed explanation and made the last episode feel almost like it shouldn’t end there. If they plan on making a second season, then it was clever to do this, otherwise, it was not a satisfatory ending.

Overall this was a good drama, but I felt it did not reach its full potential, it could have been so much better. I could have easily given it a 9 if they had reduced the dialogues, explored Kang San’s powers better, etc. For me this is a 7.5/10.

It has its flaws but also a strong message and great acting. The last few episodes I kept crying, as if I was the broken one. Probably a drama that I will remember for a while.

Your review is the best ever!😂👍 I felt the exact same way. I especially liked "the male lead might as well…
Glad you found it helpful.

The trips to the hospital were way too many.
I remember watching another drama where almost every episode someone ended up in the hospital, in one episode alone the main leads were sent to the hospital 3 times. LOL
I can‘t remember the drama name but I think it was a Thai drama.

It's unfair to selectively focus on one mistake while ignoring all the positive changes and actions that a person…
I agree. I can only make a judgement on what I know, if I don’t know the whole picture I might be judging him wrong. With that said, his comments, if he really did say that, are more of a personality flaw rather than a mistake. Which is why I don’t hate him or anything like that, I just won’t feel comfortable watching him playing certain characters when I know there is a possibility that in real life he is not a nice person.

If you know some good things he did you can share if you want so I can get a better picture of what he is like. Usually the flaws are easier to see and media tend to focus on them rather than the good things people do.

I agree with your first point. Three years into C-drama, if I’m not attracted (intelligence and/or looks), I…
I have been watching dramas for about 13 years so yeah, I am always looking for something different too. It is getting harder to find unique dramas when I have watched thousand of dramas in the past decade.

It is getting better. But if you like good-looking idols, this drama is not for you.
His looks were not the main reason for me to drop this. I don’t like his personality and I do not find romantic a young lady with an older man that has many wives and kids. Yikes

Also, I don’t watch dramas based on the ML’s looks, I care more about the plot, acting and if the main leads have chemistry.

I do believe the plot might have gotten better and I might give it a second chance after it finishes airing if most comments are positive.

But yeah, there were only a few dramas I was able to watch where the ML was already married. Although I know it was common back then for a man to marry more than one woman, I have hard time rooting for the main leads when there is a 3rd person, in this case there are many. ^^'

The synopsis made it seem interesting enough but it was nothing like I expected. I pushed through and was trying not to drop it since I hate dropping dramas but I just couldn’t.

I watched a few episodes and here are some of the reasons why I am dropping it:

- ML is not attractive (be it his looks or personality), has several wives and at least one son;
- FL and the SML are the punching bags for everyone to punch in their free time;
- The plot feels old and gets too dramatic in just the few episodes I watched, like a drama I would have watched back in 2010;
- The subs are pretty bad starting on episode 4 and that was the last straw for me. I cannot stand bad subs.

his mistake was long time ago.. he has apologised back then.. so what more people want from him? just coz of one…
This is not HIS page, this is a page about his works. I am free to comment whatever I want as long as I follow MDL’s rules.

Also, as I have said several times, I do not hate him, so I am able to watch him on screen, just not him playing ML in a romance or playing a nice character. If he plays the villain in a drama that has an interesting plot, I will probably watch it.

About the year, maybe the article I read was recent but the interviews were old, not sure, so I won’t argue with you about that. But people do not change easily, so even if he is more careful with his words now, does not mean he does not still think the same way.

Anyway, like I said, we all have similar thoughts at some point in our lives, his mistake was verbalizing them, in an interview, like it was no big deal. Apologizing does not make mistakes go away. It does not change the fact that he said those things.

Plus, I never said I hated him, that he should be canceled or anything like that. I just said that, personally, I would not be able to watch a romance where he plays the ML because his image was ruined to me, I cannot look at him the same way.

I am pretty sure he repeated the same "mistake" recently. I know of at least 2 separate interviews, years apart, where he said similar things.

I am not saying he needs to vanish from the industry, it is not like he comitted a crime, just that I will not be able to watch him in a romantic comedy or playing the nice guy when I know what he is really like. He can play the villain in dramas, just not the male lead.

Btw, I used quotes for the word mistake cause it was not a mistake, they were his true thoughts. If he thinks that of regular people, how do you think he sees people of different races or with disabilities? Everyone judges people by their looks but we know not to say some things not only because we know those thoughts are wrong but out of respect for other people.

Just as he judges people by their looks, I can judge him for being small-minded.

If there's Cheng Yi, then there's going to be angst. Boy's destined to be in pain all the time in dramas.
True. Maybe the actor likes playing these kinds of roles so he can show off how beautiful he looks when he cries. xD

Whoever wrote the plot was able to do the following:
- make it unique yet full of clichés
- make the main leads be together most of the drama yet make the progress of their relationship almost non-existant
- send almost every character to the hospital (the male lead might as well haved moved there and changed his home address to the hospital’s)
- give the supporting characters the ending that should have been reserved for the main leads
- and the list goes on.

I get the feeling we as viewers were made fun of the whole time we were watching. From what I have read about the novel, they literally sucked the fun out of the story.
I wish I could get back the time I wasted watching this, it just wasn’t worth it.

It subbed on VIU
No idea. It has been 2 years since I watched it. If you cannot find it, wait for fluffshi to answer since he/she was the one who told me to check telegram 2 years ago.
