I know what you mean. I think his voice is not-gender-identifiable lol. His vocal run could be a woman, but you…
Yeah, your brain is left very confused. If I had not seen some of his videos singing I would not believe it if someone else told me. Such great vocals. I was blown away.
Surprised you're surprised. Zhou Shen has done a few songs like that and in person on several music programs already.
I don’t know why but Charlie Zhou was the name that sticked in my mind, maybe because most people called him Charlie in Keep Running, not sure. But thank you for letting me know. I can tell you are a fan. Hard not to like him when he is so talented and from what I have seen from Keep Running he also seems like a nice person. ^^
Zhou Shen has sang numerous OSTs for dramas. He’s got such an amazing song and his vocal range is just incredible!
Yeah, I have read about it. I had to search him up after finding out he sang the ending song of this drama and was amazed by how talented he is and how many drama osts have him singing. I have also read that the dramas that have him singing one of the osts are usually great dramas.

Aside from Keep Running I have never watched other Chinese programs and have never heard him sing until now. I also knew him as Charlie Zhou instead of Zhou Shen. ^^'
I actually knew Charlie Zhou from Keep Running but could never have guessed a song with such high pitches was not sang by a woman. Even now that I know this, I still keep second-guessing everytime I listen to the song. ^^'
The romance and medical aspect were good but there were way too many people being over the top, unethical and right down criminal for just one drama.
The ending was realistic but not properly fleshed out. 6.5/10 because I would consider re-watching anything above 7 and I unfortunately would not re-watch this one.
right? the first episodes were soo fire that it shocked at the time at how the MDL rating was so low. But as I…
Definitely. I think it is a shame when below average dramas come out, but it is a bigger shame when something that has so much potential is not properly explored, it feels like a waste, like getting your favorite dessert and letting it fall on the floor after the first bite.
There are already 28 episodes out and soon all episodes will be available. Or is it you would rather watch on…
I usually do that too but when this one had just started, I think only 6 episodes were out, I had nothing else I felt like watching and needed something to watch while I had lunch, so it became sort of a routine to watch the new episodes everyday.

I also don’t have a Youku subscription but you can find the episodes on several sites like kisskh, dramanice, and so on.
I do not have that amount of patience, I started watching when there were only like 6 episodes out and have had to suffer while waiting for new episodes. ^^'
Every time I think Wen Ran cannot get more on my nerves, she keeps proving me wrong. They better give her character a deserving ending, she needs to be exposed and suffer the consequences for her lack of knowledge, ethics and everything really.
- it was 24 episodes instead of 30;- the leads did not get together so early (it would be understandable for him…
I had to google ldr in an informal context to figure out it meant long-distance relationship, thanks for the riddle, lol ^^'
That is true, but considering they are mature adults that know how they feel about each other and with how easy it is to keep in touch with video calls and to travel back and forth, it is better to have a LDR than breaking up.

This could have been a pretty nice drama all the way through if:
For a drama with such a great cast, the writing leaves much to be desired. I have watched the first 8 episodes and have felt compelled to skip quite a lot of scenes because I was bored.
Hopefully it will get better. So far it seems like the high rating is solely because of the cast.
The ending song is sang by a man.

It was quite uneventful for a thriller, it felt more like a slice of life drama. It was not bad but they could have made it a lot more interesting.
