the amount of edits i have been watching of mr plankton has me so divided , all the love reels make me wanna binge…
i havenāt finished it, but imo thereās no possible way itās a traditional happy endingāwhere ml and fl end up together alive and in love. itās obvious what will happen (unless they pull out illogical movie magic at last minute that will more than likely ruin the emotional impact it has) but the journey has so far been very well worth it. You find out ML is dying ep 1 and this is his journey, involving his ex who has her own journey to go on. its toxic and messy between the leads (although fun and intoxicating), but i think its about closure and ending things the way things deserve to be ended⦠rather than running and avoiding and pushing away and hurting the other.
so if it helps, i think even if its not a traditional happy ending, its still going to be very beautiful even though unavoidably tragic.
when you are attracted to your blackmailer, anything slides šš¤”but also heād be labelled as a victim or…
since thatās the plot, doesnāt that make it logical to the plot? itās not like it will spell it out to us, we have to take what we are given and figure out why he does certain things ourselves. and that plot could very well be his inner reasoning for going along with it.
Ep2: My man's a Partner at a law firm and gets blackmailed by nude pics in his own home? That's revenge porn,…
when you are attracted to your blackmailer, anything slides šš¤”but also heād be labelled as a victim or even just having his image like that out there would make his reputation less about his solid work. Heās a private person so i think it works out logically enough. But if it doesnt in your perspective, just remember heās attracted to his blackmailer and the idea of living with him is probably not a bad idea in his subconscious šš¤£š«£
iāve been hyped for sooo long for this since they dropped the pilot ep months back. THE HYPE IS WORTH IT! did not disappoint me for even a second. itās so good, you guys šš
the fact that they laughed when he hit his head really hard in the beginning scene together tho⦠iām sure it caused some sort of clotting and that added with the overworking⦠oh my heart. if only he had gone to get it checked out after hitting his head. maybe it could have stopped such a terribke fate from befalling the little unfortunate sweetheart.
The actors deserve the recognition š they put a lot into those NC scenes š¤£š¤£ lol but nah, no one is watching…
I get that, but it also belittles their hard work on those scenes if you say someone canāt love just those scenes (maybe someone doesnt like the plot but appreciates their chemistry etc). and also, like i said, you canāt tell from the comments why someone is watching something. But agreed, itās not cool to fetishize communities of people.
The actors deserve the recognition š they put a lot into those NC scenes š¤£š¤£ lol but nah, no one is watching just for NC scenes or else theyād not be watching something here, but that doesnt make there not be a demand for it. Considering youāre watching this specific series too, i assume you dont hate NC scenes yourself. So coming here and belittling the actorsā work for them by calling it weird for people to enjoy it, is almost ironic. Art is art is artāwhatever you feel about it, they directed this for the purpose of entertainment, art, and i mean, profit. Besides, you canāt actually know someoneās whole feelings about the series just by comments similar to « oh that scene was hotĀ Ā» lol
anyways, let people enjoy what they enjoy. as long as no one is gettingout of line and inappropriate with the actors about it, its pretty harmless.
I also want to add that I felt way more empathy for the MLās best friend than I did for him when he was stabbed…
I personally really enjoyed the lighter & princess one, but it is definitely toxic. The less toxic and all green flag relationship version is Forever Love (chinese drama also about computer programing). I highly recommend it, although side couple is annoying, but i LOVED the main relationship. Itās one of my favourite dramas despite it not being my typical fave taste.
I also want to add that I felt way more empathy for the MLās best friend than I did for him when he was stabbed…
Hm, blind trope wise reminded me of a fantasy one called Angelās Last Mission: Love (or something like that, im terrible at names). But some general recommendations: iām currently watching Amidst a snowstorn of love, and itās adorable. very sweet. im not too sure what youāre into however. if you like more dramatic things, then iād suggest something else like Lighter & Princess. For dramas with less episodes maybe kdramas like Crash Landing onto You or one of those kdrama classics. The Heirs or Coffee Prince too are pretty classic dramas.
Honestly im more into romances that are darker or are in the fantasy genre or are BL, so iām probably not the best one to recommend dramas like this one š hopefully something i said suits your taste though!
I also want to add that I felt way more empathy for the MLās best friend than I did for him when he was stabbed…
from what i remember and how i interpreted it, nope! all good! wasnt killed. i think they even showed the friend with the girl at the end too, right? so everyone is happy and alive and both couples are happy.
I also want to add that I felt way more empathy for the MLās best friend than I did for him when he was stabbed…
itās i timeskip to the future! not the past. its been awhile since i watched, but from what they showed and what i remembered, it was an epilogue of sorts just showing us their happy life together and that everything worked out etc.
zhen xuan is that neurodivergent rep that gets stuck in your head for years
I loved him so much. Thereās so many different flavours of spicy brain out there, but I loved how he played his character. It felt very relatable to some of my own spicy brain tendencies lol.
Great series, nothing to add. Actually, this two is developing a little differently than I expected from the end…
I gather the baby was his brother and maybe the blonde was a nanny? but yeah, a full explanation would have been nice. I also donāt understand how the one couple got together after that show of pushing him away and telling him he has no feelings or whatever. Would have been nice to see what changed the relationship so drastically I stead of just guessing lol. But it was definitely such a cute watch overall.
LMAOOOO, I thought I was the only one 𤣠In so many of his scenes with others, I was like "Wait, why does it…
Iām convinced itās why season 1 did so much better š¤£š¤£ all those āwill they or wonāt theyā moments hahahah no but for real, I would rewatch s1 just for him (and the almost kisses).
Anyone else really enjoying Mok Ha and Ran Jooās relationship? I mean, I love the boys, but Iām so impressed with the two girls. I was really concerned that Ran Joo would take advantage of Mok Ha in a way that would leave Mok Ha voiceless (or identity-less), but even though there is a blurry line sometimes, itās clear Ran Joo really cherishes Mok Ha and wants her to be her own person (and star). And I love how Mok Ha in return idolizes Ran Joo in a way that makes it more than idolizations(she notices her flaws and accepts her regardless). Their relationship is so nice to watch and I really hope it will continue to be that way without any of the unnecessary drama that I mentioned. Ran Joo has already grown leaps as a character too with Mok Ha backing her and paving her way.
But also, I really wish the actress of Mok Ha had portrayed Mok Ha the way the younger Mok Ha was portrayed (I loved her so much more I think for the role š ). Young Ki Ho and his older counterpart are so spot on that personally I noticed who it was right away (I mean, they even lookalike in my opinion, with their eyes and expressions). Young and older Mok Ha should have had a lot more consistencies like that⦠honestly it makes the chemistry between the leads less than what you could see between the kidsā actors. So itās hard to root for her, romance wise. But Iām still rooting for Ki Ho because he deserves to get his leading lady lol
