you call someone’s art senseless and you want to deem that an opinion? senseless = illogical. which is entirely incorrect. the fact still remains, whether you like it or not, there is logic behind it. this is not a random plot device. senseless trauma is a plot device with no meaning. this is very clearly not that. it’s been telling us since the beginning that this character’s current path ends this way. that the meaning of death is in itself significant to this story.

if you can’t see how logic exists within the foundation when the writer themselves took the time to talk about it in a post for fans, then yes, you see things shallowly. Unfortunately, being an ER nurse doesn’t mean you grasp the meaning behind art (even when its spoon fed to you apparently).

if you think this drama doesnt make sense, than yes, it seems you grasp only surface level stuff. art is subjective, but when the the creator of said art literally tells you the meaning and you still claim “it doesnt make sense” your comprehension seems to be only based on the surface level and not the depth in which its foundation lays.

you love it, yet fail to look into the deep symbolic meaning of the things your dislike. they are highly necessary to this story. its about karmic journeys. where you see sorrow, is where there is sumbolic spiritual meaning. QT represents the end of his sorrowful cycle—to die at peace is a cosmic blessing. dying means to live. it means in his next life he no longer has to travel a karmic journey to redeem his guilt from this life (the guilt of his ex). the way he died, with the animal attack, represents spiritually his soul being cleansed and released to its next journey. yes, physically tragic, but it is written into the very threads of this drama. the way sister Lan’s death is too. this is QL’s karmic journey into resolution from his past life. his “past life mother”, his brother, and i theorize the actor who represents his past self (Han Lu) are all necessary for his cycle to end (and for theirs as well).

loving something is not just surface deep. from what you wrote, you seem to like surface dramas and dramas created for the sole purpose of fun and entertainment (yes, sad and dark dramas can fit this category too). This drama was made to send a message and to awaken something dormant within your soul. it is not made to simply entertain. it’s okay to not like it, but to say its senseless trauma is overlooking the very foundation of why this drama even exists.

art isn’t always comfortable and fun. art doesn’t always follow expectations. and that’s what this is—art. not just another script with the goal of getting two boys to kiss. every frame, song, lighting choice, word, and angle is chosen with deliberate and delicate meaning and effort. effort like that is not about being enjoyed, it’s someone yelling to be heard and felt. and this? this makes you feel. its okay if you dont want to feel, but to lump this drama into those “fun” dramas, and criticize it for not fitting into that category.. is like getting mad at someone’s masterpiece for not looking like art that is mass produced. its okay to prefer one over the other, but they do not hold the same purpose at the end of the day.

no i agree it was REALLY well showcased. but you cant showcase it in a bl aimed at a younger (the highschool age group) generation and NOT point out how this is wrong and call it what it is. to me, rather than purposely showcasing something that could have had a really great lesson for viewers, it felt like a truama that the writer was unaware of coming out into their writing. Like they genuinely believed what Akira believed and because of that, the series itself believed it. That’s what i have an issue with, is the fact that this is for an audience who might end up learning the same viewpoint that Akira has on it. media has a responsibility to their audience. this did not respect it. and now instead of it being black & white, you have a lot of people arguing about why its not grooming or anything bad (even when it very clearly is)

hm alpha beta omega symbolize “beginning, middle, end”, so i assume thats the order of things in normal omegaverses since they used those specific letters. im not sure about normal humans on the society hierarchy though, probably around beta. from the little that i know, omegas got the crap end of the stick—always being used by others and at the mercy of alphas. normal humans and betas aren’t at the mercy of others the same way. they just kinda there.

from how they (ml and the other dude) were talking about being reborn and missing each other each time, it would make more sense for it to be Joe in a previous life. otherwise there’s way too much ‘story’ there to just not say anything. the reveal being joe told you all you needed (and why he was so sorry, and how he even saw the memory in the first place) vs if it was his ancestors you’re bound to question how they ended up with the house and how the heck joe clicked into place that it was them lol. It makes no sense for the murderers to go back to the scene of the crime and buy the house through means by which they got from robbing the place lol.

but Joe seeing the memory alone when he saw her skeleton is enough to prove it was his past life. pretty f-ed up. 😳 its probably why he devoted his entire life to her afterwards. guilt for murdering her in the first place.
