im just obsessed with all of the bromances in this drama. the banter and chemistry they all have together is the most wholesome fun I have ever had watching a drama. Really cute. Really fun. And of course Jun Ho is in it so how can anyone complain??! I honestly fall for all of his characters, I swear. ML did phenomenal though and his chemistry with all of those boys (and the girls!) was just so spot on.
it does have great potential. the storyline grew more mature and complex. for example, so moon's existence doesn't…
Exactly what I was thinking during s1. I mean, so moon admiring her was funny and very teen boy esque, but I didn’t think it should be reciprocated in any romantic sense by Ha na. thanks for letting me know so I’m not expecting it when I finally start it again! if that changes and if you remember this conversation, I’d be grateful for the update so I’m prepared to throw my morals away on that one lmaoo if it’s anything like season 1, the romance won’t be a huge part of the storyline anyways. But obviously no worries if you don’t remember, I’m sure the comments won’t be shy about their thoughts on it lol

thanks so much for such an in-depth comment! I’m happy it’s being well received in that case. that sounds really great. My favourite parts about season 1 were those weirdly intimate and intense scenes between the bad guy and ml (or fl). Hoping it’s done justice in this season.
so they totally axed the weirdish budding relationship between so moon and ha na? i didn’t even know how old she was supposed to be but it felt so forced in season 1. Although I am a fan of romance so I’m not opposed to something, just hoping if there is romance it’s more natural and right feeling.
I’ve heard mixed reviews about this season, how is it? I watched ep 1 and feel it has great potential, but I want to wait until all the episodes are out so I can binge.
The only difference to the West (I'm from Germany) concerning power trips is the sonetimes physical abuse, but,…
no one disagrees that it’s in your face. I only mentioned how we still deal with it here. Western society is just more secretive and manipulative about it. Maybe that’s better in your opinion, but I don’t think we have any right to criticize another society when ours is dealing with much of the same thing.
however, saying these societies ALL have to change and be better is totally valid. but I don’t really know (or think) that one is better than the other when we apply all the factors. They are both extremely fkd in their own ways and in need of some serious TLC in my opinion lol

100000% whenever I see posts complaining about this stuff and the commenter is western, it’s like a ‘check your privilege’ moment. Maybe this isn’t something the commenter had to deal with due to their race/sex/family/finances/education (all that socioeconomics stuff) but there are absolutely people who suffer unfairly due to the hierarchy. East Asian cultures just seem to subject EVERYONE to it to some degree lol (like if you’re simply younger than someone, you might have to put up with some bullying from your sunbaes etc).
I’m so happy to see the good comments on this one. Even though it wasn’t my specific cup of tea, I really loved how they called out homophobia and sexism (especially in regards to work). I fell for the plot as well which is extremely rare (I always figure out the mystery!). For that I still gave it a 7.5… And the booty shots weren’t too much of a pain either lol!
I’m still obsessed with this drama. The healthiest relationship I have ever seen. it’s all about growth and learning from one’s mistakes. So good. I miss them so much! idc about how much hate it’s getting, this drama is such a beautiful, happy watch. Highly recommend it if you’re in need of something light and straightforward.
Honestly started off probably a 6.5/7 but by the time it reached like the half way mark, the FL got SO irritating. And as soon as she wasn’t the issue anymore, the ML was. And like the entire logic behind their problems was nonexistent. It was so dramatic for NO reason (like all ML had to do was say no??? but nah, gotta torture everyone by taking ridiculous measures to solve something to blatantly dumb), but they could have come up with anything to make it make sense. By the end I wanted to rate it a 4 but because the beginning was fairly cute I gave it an overall 5.5.
still, I’d have rathered not started watching the thing in the first place. Just watch Hana Kimi or Ouran instead.
This series made me move my chair a little closer to hell. ML was so damn sexy, and his smile killed me. Excuse the pun. But for real, that was too hot for it to be about murder. And the ending?! oh my, I was in shock. That was brutal.
Also, there was no logic to be found. Seriously, it was like the police didn't actually exist and so much felt so random. I'm still confused about what went down... but by golly, ML is SO HOT.
omg I’ve never seen someone so blatantly be the catalyst of someone else’s destruction. No, a bunch of someone else’s destruction. That’s insane. Somehow as annoyed and frustrated as I was at FL (seriously fckn hate her), i fucking loved the entire thing. ML was so convincing in his role… wolf who thinks he’s a puppy. So good.
It is based on real life historical figures, so the ending is like those of real ones in history.I will add what…
I appreciate the list! It sounds very interesting. I don’t know the history but it’s cool it’s based around facts. Must make it a bit darker to watch in that case.
yo what up with the villain being that freaking attractive? Can we talk about how his acting is amazing? He seriously becomes the lead of the drama in every scene he does. And the chemistry he has with his co-actors! insane. I fully expected him (and definitely was not opposed to the idea) to start making out with a couple of them lmao this guy is the whole package and I’m over here expected to not root for him?! Tall order. (can he pls just kiss someone already tho? Like that stairwell scene?! are you kidding me? the heaaaat)
watching the first season of the uncanny counter and this guy is amazing. A great actor who seems to have incredible chemistry with everyone sharing his scenes (literally no matter who it is, it’s like they become the leads in that moment). Seriously was unexpectedly ready and waiting for him to kiss a few of them lmao the dude’s acting is almost explosive, it’s so intense. I hope his talent gets to be seen during a lead role soon. I’m disappointed that I’ll have to wait though!
Like how heavy is this drama? Is it one of those dramas you will be depressed by because of injustice or something of the sorts? Or is it a satisfying ending, maybe even happy? ML and FL together at the end? How’s the romance? I want to watch it because I keep hearing about it (and Junho), but I’m so cautious with period pieces… even if they end sad, I enjoy a fun ride and not a ride where I constantly want to scream out of frustration lol
Please let me know which type of drama this is, I’m so curious about it :)
Many of us hope and support Junho and Yoona dating in real life too.. good idea they start a reality show together.…
I would just die if they came out with a new drama together as the leads again. I hope if this drama has poor ratings that it won’t deter them from acting together again in the future.
Haha ikr?! Idk if this is the goss u want, but their bands used to be close (2pm and Snsd), and they've been on…
yeeees to a good platonic love! As much as I love a good romance, platonic friendship can be even better when you get to be in their life forever throughout all life phases and relationships.
I’m happy that they are close irl! it’s very obvious they hold some sort of love for one another (especially Junho… you can see it in his eyes. heck, you can feel it.) Platonic or romantic, idc, I just love that the chemistry is not all fake.
