Honestly started off probably a 6.5/7 but by the time it reached like the half way mark, the FL got SO irritating. And as soon as she wasn’t the issue anymore, the ML was. And like the entire logic behind their problems was nonexistent. It was so dramatic for NO reason (like all ML had to do was say no??? but nah, gotta torture everyone by taking ridiculous measures to solve something to blatantly dumb), but they could have come up with anything to make it make sense. By the end I wanted to rate it a 4 but because the beginning was fairly cute I gave it an overall 5.5.

still, I’d have rathered not started watching the thing in the first place. Just watch Hana Kimi or Ouran instead.

I think it fits better with FL than ML.

This series made me move my chair a little closer to hell. ML was so damn sexy, and his smile killed me. Excuse the pun. But for real, that was too hot for it to be about murder. And the ending?! oh my, I was in shock. That was brutal.

Also, there was no logic to be found. Seriously, it was like the police didn't actually exist and so much felt so random. I'm still confused about what went down... but by golly, ML is SO HOT.

omg I’ve never seen someone so blatantly be the catalyst of someone else’s destruction. No, a bunch of someone else’s destruction. That’s insane. Somehow as annoyed and frustrated as I was at FL (seriously fckn hate her), i fucking loved the entire thing. ML was so convincing in his role… wolf who thinks he’s a puppy. So good.

I appreciate the list! It sounds very interesting. I don’t know the history but it’s cool it’s based around facts. Must make it a bit darker to watch in that case.

yo what up with the villain being that freaking attractive? Can we talk about how his acting is amazing? He seriously becomes the lead of the drama in every scene he does. And the chemistry he has with his co-actors! insane. I fully expected him (and definitely was not opposed to the idea) to start making out with a couple of them lmao this guy is the whole package and I’m over here expected to not root for him?! Tall order. (can he pls just kiss someone already tho? Like that stairwell scene?! are you kidding me? the heaaaat)

watching the first season of the uncanny counter and this guy is amazing. A great actor who seems to have incredible chemistry with everyone sharing his scenes (literally no matter who it is, it’s like they become the leads in that moment). Seriously was unexpectedly ready and waiting for him to kiss a few of them lmao the dude’s acting is almost explosive, it’s so intense. I hope his talent gets to be seen during a lead role soon. I’m disappointed that I’ll have to wait though!

Like how heavy is this drama? Is it one of those dramas you will be depressed by because of injustice or something of the sorts? Or is it a satisfying ending, maybe even happy? ML and FL together at the end? How’s the romance? I want to watch it because I keep hearing about it (and Junho), but I’m so cautious with period pieces… even if they end sad, I enjoy a fun ride and not a ride where I constantly want to scream out of frustration lol

I would just die if they came out with a new drama together as the leads again. I hope if this drama has poor ratings that it won’t deter them from acting together again in the future.

yeeees to a good platonic love! As much as I love a good romance, platonic friendship can be even better when you get to be in their life forever throughout all life phases and relationships.

I’m happy that they are close irl! it’s very obvious they hold some sort of love for one another (especially Junho… you can see it in his eyes. heck, you can feel it.) Platonic or romantic, idc, I just love that the chemistry is not all fake.

I can’t stop coming back to this page. Can the actors just date for real? 😭 I’m so obsessed with their chemistry. Can they date and start a reality show together so I can be a major creep and watch them live their daily lives? lmao I don’t even watch reality tv shows but I would watch the heck out of theirs if all that chemistry is real (which I’m betting on it is… I’ve seen them in other dramas with other co-actors and they do NOT hit the same way) 🥲forgive me for bringing it into their real personal lives, but part of me is way hecking invested in these two now and I’d gladly be their audience if such a thing existed.

Am I the only one that hated the ending and the conclusion to everything? First, it was really sad (and yes, I watched ep 37), second, it felt like all the build up kind of fizzled. But regardless, a great show. Clearly it made me invested in the character if they can break my heart like they did (multiple times). Worth the watch even if I didn’t personally love the ending they went with. I just feel like SOME of the events were so merciless* and too heartbreaking to ever get proper justice for them—it felt like the writer was just doing it to hurt us rather than add to the plot (since the plot could have easily gone in the same direction witthout it imo).

*that particular scene near the end playing with our emotions like that 😭😭😭😭 the audacity

I appreciate the recommendations and definitely did not intend for this to blow up into an argument. I just wanted to point out that it can be hard to tell what a 10/10 drama is to someone else and that it isn’t right to tell someone their 10 is wrong because you believe there is better out there. I’m sure there will always be better but we’re all different with different tastes after all. But I do appreciate the recommendations, after KTL ended I feel empty lol

I just said that the plot isn’t what makes it good in my eyes. I like the growth being displayed by the ML. And as I said, your 10/10 isn’t always going to match up with someone else’s 10/10 but there is no need to belittle anyone for liking something that you don’t. This doesn’t have to be extraordinary for you in order for it to be extraordinary for someone else. To me, the way ML deals with his mistakes is extraordinary for a drama because I’ve never seen any drama tackle it like they have.

taking into consideration some of the dramas that you’ve rated 9.5 and 10 yourself, I’m not sure your judgement of a 10/10 is to be trusted. But hey, it’s all subjective. Someone’s 10 might be someone’s 1–and vice versa. Are you sure you’ve watched an objective 10/10 drama? I don’t know if I have, I just know I like what I like. But I certainly won’t belittle someone for liking something I don’t, like what you’re doing here.

what makes me personally love KTL is the respect and growth being shown. Dramaland rarely ever shows leads making mistakes, taking accountability for them and growing from the experience (and more importantly, not making the same mistake twice!). the plot to me, isn’t what made me fall head over heels for the leads. That alone to me is worth a high rating. Maybe not a ten due to some easy plot device wrap-ups, but close enough imo.

this is a very confusing, vague, and toxic drama… but my god do I love it lmao. it’s way too realistic to the point where it hurts to watch, but you can’t stop watching because you know it’s a train wreck abut to happen. Also the leads are beautiful to watch and music is amazing, so that helps. Nevertheless, the ending makes absolutely no sense (why the heck the leads would choose to do this to themselves again, no one knows—except we all know exactly why and can’t blame them) and leaves so many questions. Truly a toxic masterpiece that will leave you frustrated and ready to watch it again because you’re a bit masochistic 👏🏼 encore

a tip for everybody who is thinking of watching this: don’t watch the untamed first 😭 this is a really good drama but (imo) the untamed is a freaking masterpiece and it took so much away from WoH when I watched it right after. There’s a lot more happening outside of just the leads and all I wanted was to watch chemistry between the leads like in the untamed lol! So it took me like 3 tries to finally get into it. But it’s great and the chemistry IS also great. It’s just not a masterpiece in my eyes which is totally okay! still probably a solid 9 if I wasn’t so hung up about the comparisons
