I canāt stop coming back to this page. Can the actors just date for real? š Iām so obsessed with their chemistry. Can they date and start a reality show together so I can be a major creep and watch them live their daily lives? lmao I donāt even watch reality tv shows but I would watch the heck out of theirs if all that chemistry is real (which Iām betting on it is⦠Iāve seen them in other dramas with other co-actors and they do NOT hit the same way) š„²forgive me for bringing it into their real personal lives, but part of me is way hecking invested in these two now and Iād gladly be their audience if such a thing existed.
on that note, if you have any, please leave some hot gossip about these two so I can keep this ship sailing as long as possible :)
Am I the only one that hated the ending and the conclusion to everything? First, it was really sad (and yes, I watched ep 37), second, it felt like all the build up kind of fizzled. But regardless, a great show. Clearly it made me invested in the character if they can break my heart like they did (multiple times). Worth the watch even if I didnāt personally love the ending they went with. I just feel like SOME of the events were so merciless* and too heartbreaking to ever get proper justice for themāit felt like the writer was just doing it to hurt us rather than add to the plot (since the plot could have easily gone in the same direction witthout it imo).
*that particular scene near the end playing with our emotions like that šššš the audacity
taking into consideration some of the dramas that youāve rated 9.5 and 10 yourself, Iām not sure your judgement…
I appreciate the recommendations and definitely did not intend for this to blow up into an argument. I just wanted to point out that it can be hard to tell what a 10/10 drama is to someone else and that it isnāt right to tell someone their 10 is wrong because you believe there is better out there. Iām sure there will always be better but weāre all different with different tastes after all. But I do appreciate the recommendations, after KTL ended I feel empty lol

I just said that the plot isnāt what makes it good in my eyes. I like the growth being displayed by the ML. And as I said, your 10/10 isnāt always going to match up with someone elseās 10/10 but there is no need to belittle anyone for liking something that you donāt. This doesnāt have to be extraordinary for you in order for it to be extraordinary for someone else. To me, the way ML deals with his mistakes is extraordinary for a drama because Iāve never seen any drama tackle it like they have.
people who rated this 10 probably have not watched an actual 10 drama in their lives. anyWaY... this drama is…
taking into consideration some of the dramas that youāve rated 9.5 and 10 yourself, Iām not sure your judgement of a 10/10 is to be trusted. But hey, itās all subjective. Someoneās 10 might be someoneās 1āand vice versa. Are you sure youāve watched an objective 10/10 drama? I donāt know if I have, I just know I like what I like. But I certainly wonāt belittle someone for liking something I donāt, like what youāre doing here.
what makes me personally love KTL is the respect and growth being shown. Dramaland rarely ever shows leads making mistakes, taking accountability for them and growing from the experience (and more importantly, not making the same mistake twice!). the plot to me, isnāt what made me fall head over heels for the leads. That alone to me is worth a high rating. Maybe not a ten due to some easy plot device wrap-ups, but close enough imo.
this is a very confusing, vague, and toxic drama⦠but my god do I love it lmao. itās way too realistic to the point where it hurts to watch, but you canāt stop watching because you know itās a train wreck abut to happen. Also the leads are beautiful to watch and music is amazing, so that helps. Nevertheless, the ending makes absolutely no sense (why the heck the leads would choose to do this to themselves again, no one knowsāexcept we all know exactly why and canāt blame them) and leaves so many questions. Truly a toxic masterpiece that will leave you frustrated and ready to watch it again because youāre a bit masochistic šš¼ encore
a tip for everybody who is thinking of watching this: donāt watch the untamed first š this is a really good drama but (imo) the untamed is a freaking masterpiece and it took so much away from WoH when I watched it right after. Thereās a lot more happening outside of just the leads and all I wanted was to watch chemistry between the leads like in the untamed lol! So it took me like 3 tries to finally get into it. But itās great and the chemistry IS also great. Itās just not a masterpiece in my eyes which is totally okay! still probably a solid 9 if I wasnāt so hung up about the comparisons
itās definitely her talking about the job, not the relationship. lol
at no point in my comment did I mention anything about it being a good or bad plot. Not sure why youāre replying if you canāt add to the conversation (which is on (1) FL talking about her career, not her relationship and (2) if FL is selfish for choosing her career).
if you want to have a conversation about if the plot is good or bad, donāt just randomly reply to conversations that have nothing to do with it lol
itās definitely her talking about the job, not the relationship. lol
How is it selfish? they showed in the last episode how long distance doesnāt actually hurt their relationship. and itās not even that long distance considering how easy it would be for won to go see her. Sheās been slaving for a company for 7 years, she deserves to be happy in her work and she clearly decided the forest hotel is where sheād be happiest. Won is a great boyfriend and will definitely want her to choose her happiness. if he knew she wasnāt happy anymore at KTL he would encourage her to make this choice anyways. Just as she would encourage him when he needs to go abroad (which he probably will again have to seeing how his business plan is about incorporating other places).
FL has never been a woman who puts love before her career. And Won isnāt the type of man who would make her choose between the two because heās the opposite where he would probably put the woman he loves before his work. Neither is bad or selfish when there is a healthy balance, which we have seen they have. They are perfect together.
Even if she stayed, how would that help Won at work?
Everyone stop jumping the gun! The writers have loved trying to trick us this whole way through. FL hasnāt thought about her relationship at all and itās not even a question whether sheāll stay with ML or not for her. She has always been thinking about her career because that is the questionable thing in her future⦠not whether or not the relationship is worth it. Cāmon donāt let the writers get the best out of yah yet! lol
Sorry writersā¦gotta give you a full point deduction for todayās ending, and spoiling Gu Wonās spectacular…
I think sheās talking about KTL not the relationship. The writers have liked tricking us all along when it comes to them breaking up. Because they never do.
am I the only one that liked how cartoon-y the monsters felt? it was like creatures out of the movie Beetlejuice and I think it made me like it more than if it were more realistic (but Iām not a fan of zombie movies so that might just be me). Honestly made it feel more dark comedy at times too which I enjoyed.
so I went ahead and spoiled this show for myself, and I'm not sure if I should continue or not. I hate endings…
I hate the same thing and FoE made me WAY more upset than this ending. But I was also WAY more invested in FoE⦠but idk, that kind of cliche trope normally p*sses me tf off, but it didnāt this time. Maybe because everyone around her was so positive about it and made it seem like it wasnāt a big deal.
Iām with everyoneāI loved a lot about this show. From the very interesting and endearing relationships formed with past loved ones to FLās bubbly and fiery personality. Unfortunately the show wasnāt wrapped up enough though by the end. I think the overall thing however is definitely worth the watch.
I find it really interesting that no one has asked Da Eul if she wants to stay with her husband and she hasn't…
very true. my sister went through divorce but only after she realized she was into girls more. so it took her coming out of the closet to separate from her emotionally abusive and neglectant husband (even now he refuses to sign the papers because he can). So even once divorce IS on the table, it can be long and painful and expensive process to get it finalized when you have a spouse hellbent on making your life miserable. Add in kids and itās worse due to custody etc.
so yes, lots of people stay somewhat unhappy if not completely unhappy because itās such a headache. And if in Korean culture it also causes workplace abuse etc. I understand why the friend isnāt thinking about divorcing him. Just so frustrating to see it when the drama has been showing us all these ideal versions of situations!
on that note, if you have any, please leave some hot gossip about these two so I can keep this ship sailing as long as possible :)
