I love how they DIDN'T have a sex scene in this show. So many of the BL these days are almost feeling like porn, or sex scene after sex scene. It was refreshing that they still think they are still remembering they have a complex audience that it's well past straight women's fantasies.

Does anyone know where there might be subtitles that make sense (that's not WeTV)? all of the videos on Dailymotion have the same subtitles that are not really sensical.

Mine would be more accurate if I said, I enjoyed up to ep 7 where I dropped it because I just couldn't watch someone stagger his way through a sexuality he is not. I don't begrudge his inability to do so. I wouldn't act straight if you paid me. Trying already f*ed up enough years of my life and at least I didn't have to do it over internaitonal television.

I love how all the first comments on this is asking if it's BL. I don't have to worry if I'll get my question answered or not because we're all here for the same thing. It's disturbing how they refer to heterosexuals as "real men" and Tian as "not a real man" because he's gay. It makes me sick to my stomach. I'm sure some will say it's a historical piece trying to be "historically accurate" But you can be historically accurate and phrase your words differently. And you don't have to perpetuate the worst, most harmful stereotypes of an entire demographic to be "historically accurate" No one would have straight, white teeth, and there are a lot of other shit done and said in history against other minorities, that won't be said here. For Stay With Me, it was so explicit that they were in a sexual relationship, and there were so many cheek kisses and what could have been on the lips but it was too dark to tell. They are getting by the censors, and there are clear indications to the viewers that they are BL like the white rabbits and the cut sleeves. There is a definite difference between BL and BM.
