this was fucking EPIC! possibly my favorite sageuk to date… after Empress Ki (that will always have a special place in my heart)
this has the most amazingly written, spoken, & acted Emperor. i’m not sure how close to historically accurate it is but he freaking nailed the authoritarian/compassionate/SMART persona!
& the friendship between the Emperor & Kang Kam Chan was tearjerkingly beautiful to say the least.
