Bloody Monday is such an intriguing drama. I've seen this drama twice now, and my experience rewatching it was almost like the first time, since I couldn't really remember what happened. This drama will have you at the edge of ur seat, biting ur nails in anticipation. And this is DEFINITELY a marathon-worthy drama. Takagi Fujimaru (Miura Haruma) is a is an ordinary high school student, besides the fact that he is a genius hacker, and the FBI (or THIRD-i watevs) constantly seeks him out for help. This time, there is a threat of a biological weapon being released into Tokyo, called Bloody X, and it can literally wipe out the entire city. So they use Takagi (Falcon is his nickname) to help stop this terrorist attack. Bloody Monday is so much more than this brief summary I've provided. There are twists beyond twists, and it's honestly so much fun to watch. Who can you trust? That's a question that haunts all the characters in this drama. I only have one issue with Bloody Monday, and it's an issue that you can either overlook or will make you roll ur eyes at this drama: some of the twists are beyond ridiculous. I won't spoil anything, but part of the fun in watching these types of dramas is to speculate and come up with predictions of how things will go down. There's no real or true explanation to the final twist of this drama. I just went along with it, but I for one know when to admit that a drama could've done better than that. I think Bloody Monday was originally a manga, so I guess it's the manga author's fault for just being lazy, but that doesn't deter my enjoyment of the drama. It was still very well acted. The music played out just right. And as I stated before, the rewatch value is very high, you can rewatch this without getting bored. One more thing I have to say before I end this review. I honestly truly do not know why Sato Takeru is listed as a main role, while Narimiya Hiroki (who stole this drama) isn't even on the main page. Sato Takeru was great too, but he had more of a supporting role to me. So if u plan to watch Bloody Monday for Sato Takeru, just know his role wasn't as significant as the others (he's Takagi's best friend). Anyways, I absolutely recommend this drama. It's fun to watch, and such a great jdrama to marathon!
