Just a few words - Simply outstanding! The last ep made me cry more than the previous eps. And the ending made me look forward to Part 2 more and more. This is the kind of series that shouldn't be missed.
Just watched the latest behind the scenes for ep 4 and just wow, the Director is so meticulous, he knows what to show, what dialogues to say, what actions/expressions to do, and what emotions to portray, to the tiniest details. And hats off to the two young lead actors for enduring those difficult scenes, esp the underwater scenes. And viewers are rewarded with one of the best series I have watched across all genre. Powerful!
I can't help it, after ep 7, I just upped my current rating for this series from 9.5 to 10. This is such an excellent series, short but concise, and the storyline and acting is topnotch!
Finished the series just now. I might say I love the start, got annoyed in the middle part because the FL seems to be not developing her character well, but the ending episodes are excellent. In the end, I love this series!
After ep 8, I don't know if I want to continue watching this series. The character of the FL is totally unlikable. The world doesn't revolve around her pls.
This series is becoming so annoying for many reasons. The ML is scary, his character is so suffocating, acting so selfish for the FL. The earlier eps showed him acting as if the FL is his slave, then in future eps, he acted as if the FL needs to act according to his standard. (ep 18, even the dress she has to wear).
The FL on the other hand is so immature, leaving home she grew up with, and not making efforts to learn the truth, only relying on fate (well relying on the writer's whim to be exact) to know what happened. She is so impulsive.
Then there are those evil supporting characters.
Anyway, I am still watching, this is not so bad, just the characters are oftentimes way over the top.
Now, this is very nice indeed.. After ep 1, there is real story and excellent acting. The boys can shed real tears, feeling the emotions. This is one of the better Thai series of the same genre currently airing.
After 119 episodes, there is still no sign of relief for the leads. This is 122 episodes where perhaps 121 episodes is full torment and 1 episode is the resolution of all the conflicts. Talk about how the writers balance things out for the sake of viewers and the overall plot. Well, this seems to be not the case. A satisfying comeuppance for the antagonists seems non existent, maybe just some short scenes.
I don;t know, but ever since I saw Without You and The Fox's Summer, Seven Tan has become a favorite Chinese actress of mine. Such a natural actress both in drama and comedy! Waiting for this one!
I am starting to dislike the series because of Ming Yu and the story arc and the way the character of the young emperor is written. After ep 42, I feel that the drama is never-ending. It's ok for me if ever there is no happy ending, but the melancholy surrounding the series is too much because almost every character written is conniving. .Anyway, just some rants, but the story is powerful and the acting and dialogues are excellent.
Interesting first episode. The suspense is there and the story is moving on a steady pace. Also adding to the intensity is the camera shots, especially those tracking shots and the overall cinematography. Looking forward to the next episode. And I love that this is just 10 eps.

Lol, you should learn the difference between the actor and the character. The actor is the person acting and the character is the one written for her to portray. The actor here is doing good but the character is not likeable. So don't take it personally!!
In fairness, after Gameboys, this Philippines series definitely deserves to be noticed. It is light, but not boring, one factor is the naturally good acting, and the music.

Haha, I've actually increased my rating to 9.5. Looking back this is one of the few rom-coms that made me burst into sudden laughter in the earlier episodes. I actually want to see them paired again. Just that those two episodes before the end raised my eyebrows.
