I was going to say this. They're three actresses with chops and their dramas and films are usually huge hits.…
Oh same. I like the three women in the article as well, but I wouldn't choose them as the three actresses who define this generation. The Kims are definitely more impressive and are household names as well.
ZQH was very natural in her role here, she's so great at these down to earth characters. XBB's acting needs a little work ngl but he is extremely handsome and the other characters that were more lively made up for where he lacked. The kids, oh my god. Idk how they managed to get two beyond adorable kids who were actually decent actors as well. They were both pretty damn good but the little boy was especially so. His little face and his lisp had me crying, he was so cute. Now, this is a very cliche drama but the dynamic of the parent-child relationships and interactions were the best I've seen in this kind of genre. I did feel though that the second couple were super unnecessary and I would have much rather had more Tong Luoqi content. She was a riot.
I did get bored at some parts but overall it kept me interested, laughing, and smiling. It was much better than The Love You Give Me which also came out recently but somehow has a higher score than this drama. If you had to pick one with the cute kid gimmick, I'd pick this one.
If were to choose 3 actresses that has solidified themselves as acting prowess in the past years (both in tv &…
I was going to say this. They're three actresses with chops and their dramas and films are usually huge hits. I don't understand the article comparison. They're all idol actresses so of course they're popular, but like I don't think you'd see someone comparing Cha Eunwoo with Song Seung Heon. Just because they're both popular isn't a good reason to put them in the same category.
LMAO, it can't be helped. ZLY aged drastically. LGX as well. Even all the photos and BTS footages have insane…
That person's a freak. There's one person who goes to any article about Zhao Liying on sites like this and dramapanda and starts attacking her and comparing her to Yang Mi or Yang Zi. It's always the same rant, they're insane.
well based on the trailer dubbed 🙄 lgx's accent is REALLY strong so I don't think he'll ever use his own voice…
I don't think she has a problem with dubbing herself. She did so in Story of Minglan back in 2018 and also in Wild Bloom last year and was great in both. Like another person said it's often not the actor's choice. I hope she ends up being able to dub herself here.
i recently saw her in "the wind blows from Longxi" i don't know if she was dubbed, but she did a nice job
She was also good in A Murderous Affair in Horizon Tower. The problem with her though is I don't think she has the depth to carry a show as the lead. I'm especially wary cuz Song Weilong also isn't the most impressive actor so there isn't someone to carry the other person's weaknesses. I genuinely hope I'm wrong though and that the two of them do a good job. The premise of the drama sounds fun and I like the costumes/setting.
I'm really confused about the high rating. The story is so dumb and none of the characters feel real. The writing is bad and I can't tell if the voice actors are shitty or if it's the actual actors that are taking me out of it. The little boy is cute but he's literally the only redeeming factor. I get that it's supposed to be lighthearted fun, but it isn't all that fun. It's boring.
I really hope he and the other abusers who've been outed recently have to face actual legal repercussions. It's sick and evil and I'm so sorry for the victims.
I still haven't warmed to Lee Min Ki. The dramas I've seen him in he just seems stiff. But I'll give this a try…
He was really good in My Liberation Notes. Even if you still find him stiff, the drama itself is great and he's only one of three leads so you can't really go wrong.
Hi! Time for the rewatch. We are halfway done. 😯Please share your thoughts here. 💕EPISODE: 21
Hi there! You've already seen it so I was wondering what episode does the dream arc end? I understand that it's important but I am honestly so bored. It's the most cliche xianxia storyline. I was LOVING the show up until now. I'm jonesing to get back to TTJ and LSS/YXW.
