I'm watching it for the first time and ohmygod Han Hyojoo's acting is so bad. Has it always been this bad? I watched Shining Inheritance years ago and I don't remember her being this awful.

Person Zhuang Han
Wow he's only two years older than Zhang Yaqin but he seemed so much older than her in An Ancient Love Song. I was wondering if maybe it's just the styling but I can't tell because when you google him only Zhang Han's pics come up 😭

still my favorite youth drama out there. i wish more had a similar dynamic, but i think it was also due to the…
Agreed. They worked so well off of each other. It also helped that the ML wasn't a cookie-cutter character, he was a little brat lmao

I aspire to see your reaction when they insult your country
You saying you're a white woman from the south as if you're doing something lmao. You're not being discriminated against for being white and believing in god. You're literally the majority where you live. And big deal you have multiracial children, they're the ones who will struggle, not you. Who are you to decide what minorities are allowed to be offended at? And while you may not be offended if the US is made fun of (neither am I) Koreans sure as hell get offended when Koreans are stereotyped or something is portrayed in a way they don't like. Whole ass dramas are cancelled when that happens, a simple apology doesn't cut it.

A chief complaint has been that there should have been more research done so that there could have been a more…
Joseon Exorcist wasn't a documentary but it still got cancelled because Korean people were upset about the inclusion of Chinese symbolism and culture in a drama that was set in ancient Korea and boycotted it.

The comment sections on articles about that were far more sympathetic and people largely weren't telling them to have thicker skin. This stereotypical portrayal of an Arab man is far more harmful than what was put in Joseon Exorcist, yet the comments are very different. It doesn't take a genius to understand why.

Title Our Blues Spoiler
Why??
Spoilers:

The girl gets pregnant with the boy. The boy pressures the girl into keeping it but it's all supposed to be viewed through a romantic light. They have no money or jobs. Their dads raised them by themselves and worked hard every day so that the kids would be well supported. Then these kids decide to keep the baby and make a very childish plan that involves having their dads pay for them to have a place to live. The boy drops out of school to work crappy jobs when both the girl and the boy are the top two in the school who previously had plans to go to top universities and become doctors. If it weren't for the help of their parents, there's no way in hell they'd be able to go to college or support themselves and it screams selfish teenagers who don't have a clue but are acting like they do. If these kids want to make adult decisions, then they should act like adults and support themselves.

But it's all supposed to be viewed through this idealistic lens, that everything is going to work out as planned and their love is enough to keep it all together. It's very naive and reminds me of so many young adult shows and books and it's quite annoying to watch when you're in your twenties so I skipped like the last 1/4 of their storyline. It was making me sour towards the drama so I'm glad I skipped it because I loved all of the other episodes.

If you're younger you'll probably enjoy it. When I was a kid watching Glee and other shows where teenagers get pregnant I was empathetic. But I'm grown now lmao, I empathize with the dads far more. Especially the girl's dad, he didn't deserve it.

Are you delusional? You think because some (Key word: SOME) Arab people do shit they shouldn't, that it's okay for you to discriminate against an entire group of people?? THAT'S RACISM. How do you not understand that? Because some black people commit crimes then should we label them thugs? Because some Mexican people come to the US illegally we should label them all "illegals?"

I can't tell if you're actually stupid so you think it isn't racism or if you are a blatant racist who thinks your racism is justified.

Is YCY confirmed? Ngl I really hope they get someone else. These are high quality production dramas and a FL with high acting skills should be chosen. YCY is beautiful but she should really do some more supporting roles to improve imo.

So excited for Shen Yue first costume drama with this amazing cast!!! I will be watching and supporting Shen Yue…
Not technically her first costume drama but it is the first one where she has a more prominent role. She had a small part in Let's Shake It.

Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms/Eternal Love is her best and most famous work. It's the blueprint for like every xianxia…
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't TMOPB the most viewed Chinese drama? If it isn't now it was at one point. I know Yang Mi was already popular and had a large amount of work under her belt, but none of her other dramas have reached the same level of popularity.

You're literally being racist. You're taking the actions of some Arab people boycotting a kdrama of all fucking things as your last straw and boycotting all Arab businesses and detesting an entire group of people. You're insane.

You boycotting any Arab business because of the actions of some drama viewers is absolutely deranged. Psycho and highkey racist behavior
