Makes me so happy she's getting her flowers. She's one of the most underrated actresses and doesn't have someone backing her. She's been slowly growing in popularity purely based off of her own talent. She's also such a classic beauty like Zhao Wei. I really hope she's able to get more lead roles in the future

Once again though you are missing the point. The world is not black and white. Yes, these girls should not have been exposed to the industry in this way. But throwing up your arms and saying "damage done!" and not voicing concern just because it could have (and should have) been dealt with differently is not the play. This role is wrong on another level compared to what Ai Mi has done in the past, and the criticism everyone voicing here is 100% valid, even if you think it should have been done earlier. You have to be able to recognize that her being paired with this ML is so much worse than her previous roles.

Literally not talking about HYTT right now but yes I'm VERY against the roles being given to her lately too. And yeah you're right these minors shouldn't be paired romantically ever with anyone that much older than them but, you have to be DENSE to think that a small role like the one in MJTY is anywhere near as damaging as Ai Mi being the female lead here. It was okay. The pacing felt off, but honestly the pacing on most dramas these days has been weird. I really hate how every drama is so short now so they have to rush through the major plot points. I liked it but definitely didn't love it. I feel like if it had another 10-15 episodes they could have fleshed things out and I would have rated it higher. 7/10
