Im so pissed. TVing has said they will reupload the trailer censored. Like wtf? How's 2 men kissing explicit?…
They say it's because of the 19+ rating but there's nothing sexually explicit or anything related to drugs or profanity in that short trailer, so it makes no sense that they'd need to re-edit. It's clearly just an excuse for them to tone down the shots of men kissing/laying in bed together 🙄
bro. the murderer should just be punished by law not be killed. murderer is human too this is literally basic…
Right? It's so simple. Also he's such a cinnamon roll I couldn't imagine disliking him.
The drama is spelling it out for viewers as well, last week saying that victims do not feel that justice is served if the murderer gets the "easy way out" of being killed, and how it deprives them of proper closure. And this week Daon explicitly being told that the duty of a police officer is to reveal the crime, not to punish the perpetrators.
I hope you're right! And that it's released on TVING on the 21st as planned.
They removed the trailers, not the drama, which has not premiered yet. The writer said the release will go ahead as scheduled on TVING. Viki is the OTT in other territories.
Many articles are being written in Korean media based on the trailers being removed and the author/screenwriter's comments about it. Ironically this could end up being better "promo" for the drama with a wider reach than what it would've had if the homophobes hadn't pulled this crap.
It seems all three main actors have accepted their offers and filming will start soon, to premiere on Netflix! This will be Nam Joo-hyuk's first project after completing his military service last month. 🥳
