Really baffling that some on here simply don't want conflict between a demon who doesn't follow the law and a detective who lives by the law. That's literally their dynamic. Of course Daon is doing what he's doing? It would be so boring if he just left her alone, so I really don't know what you're asking for.
Besides, how they both will waver seems to be part of the point in how their two characters will develop. She will waver because she'll gradually experience more human emotions, and he will waver because I can't imagine he wouldn't want to kill whoever murdered his family when we get to that.
He IS a demon just something up his sleeve… maybe he has the Kylum or he’s the Satan himself
That was the point. Demons start to feel human emotions once they spend enough time in their world. Just like Justitia's heart was beating fast for Daon. The demon didn't want anyone to know he had developed human feelings, because clearly that's a severe crime in the underworld, understandably.
The Bitna/Daon dynamic is so satisfying so far. I love enemies who just can't stay away from one another, and her heart is already beating hard for him. It will be interesting to see how long his righteous belief in the law will hold firm, especially when they start getting into his family's murder case later on.
First of all , not hate! But am I the only one who thinks that PSH is trying to hard in this drama or was it a…
It's the character. Deliberately acted and directed. And I think she's doing an excellent job. This is on track to become one of her most iconic characters in my book.
I'm just wondering, do other popular dramas get this much hate, or is it just LND? This is my first time watching…
It's a lot with LND because the marketing sold something other than what viewers got (for most of the drama). But honestly My Demon got far more hate on here, which I never understood, because that was just a silly, fun little romcom with great visuals all the way through. Meanwhile, I've found this to be one of the most frustrating dramas I've followed weekly.
Seems many agree, based on comments on various platforms, plus the fact that the TV ratings have been underwhelming. Everyone expected this to be the next big weekend drama hit for tvN after Queen of Tears, but it's not even gonna hit double digits. Looks like it might even end up behind Doctor Slump (which was on JTBC but covered similar themes).
Starting this now and just realized that the screenwriter also did two of my all-time favorite dramas, so that's promising. Hopefully this is as great as Chicago Typewriter and Twinkling Watermelon 🤞
