I'm still pissed. Can't they just air it on Netflix or some other OTT platform? They should've chosen a better broadcast company than SBS, like OCN or TVN. Wasted potential 🐨
oh my fcking god I'm so tired of MDL comments, always people who have the need to always say when they don't like…
Babe, are you okay? They're just comments. I think you're too invested and taking everything very seriously. It's an online website that only exists virtually, it literally cannot make an actual impact on your life unless you let it. This is like strangers talking about random things in the real world, would you go around getting pissed off at every little thing a stranger says and pick fights with them over their opinions on a movie? No, right. Just learn to ignore. It'll do you good, I promise. If something seems interesting to you, just give it a go. Not everyone has the same taste, what might end up being your favorite show might be someone's nightmare. So just sit back and relax, don't mind other people too much. This *is* a shared community afterall.

Ji Chang Wook's character arc puzzled me but his death pissed me tf off. I was so annoyed. Like bish you really gonna turn him evil over his sister dying when she voluntarily stayed back? No average human has the heart to go around killing others. That was just bad writing made to stretch the plot. But JCW's character watching them through CCTV & announcing their location was kinda funny ngl. We could've done so much more with the other characters. Only KKH's character was well fleshed out, all the others felt underutilized. Also, Kwon Se Jeong's ex husband dying off so early in the movie was such a turn off. This is why you don't save pissy, selfish characters. They make things so much worse. Dumb move.
But I really liked how the characters were quick on their feet & thought to communicate only via phone and the sprinkler & perfume thing too. It was also very interesting to see how the zombies evolved.
The portion of the movie where you understand why it's named "colony" was very fun & engaging. The metaphor with ants & how they share networks & communicate was a refreshing take that I enjoyed quite a bit. The mucus part & them creating almost an ant mill out of the conference building, aka "colony" was a really nice touch. It was creative & novel, I'll give it that. It started off a little average, I was almost laughing at how bad it was in the first 30 minutes but that's the point. It starts off a bit slow but then progresses into something new and fresh in the zombieverse. This take was very refreshing and the characters were quite smart, but their deaths were so dumb and random. That's what pissed me off. Killing off the cast for unnecessary reasons. At one point, my immersion broke completely cause I was so pissed at the writing. Made me drop my rating from a 9 to an 8.
Yujin actually showed up, I saw a proof!! 🥰 I'm just relieved that she didn't leave SW hanging whatever their…
Oh? Can you share the source with me please? I'd like to know as well. From the preview for the commentary special episode, they all do look very happy & Siwon & Yujin also seem to be on good terms, even though their conversation indicates they haven't been meeting up with dating in mind yet. Who knows, the special meetup might change things.
That's what I was able to find as well, thank you! I guess I'll just have to wait :( I only saw the episodes uploaded to the wavve official website but it requires me to purchase a pass & I don't really know how to do transactions for korean sites and that too over just one show lol
Humans can be such fickle beings. Some will take even the smallest doubts and cling to them in fear of being hurt & stay the same instead of seeing all the good things that await them and taking a step forward. While others, no matter the hurdles, will keep their eyes on the positive & guide themselves with hope & sheer will & make it. They will defy all odds & prove the people that doubted them wrong. It's all about the mindset. Psychology? Reading a person & predicting their decisions? All of it is only dire because you have no idea what point might stick with a person more & make them change their decision on a whim. It depends on how willing they are to get out of their comfort zone and how many things they are willing to fight for your sake. If the determination is there, nothing can stop them, but if they're scared, no matter how good things were, they won't try.
I don't know why I went on a philosophical rant but today's episode warranted this. I, as a viewer feel so hurt & disappointed, I can only imagine how the one who got stood up feels.
Wait hold up. This came out in 2023??!?!? By the vibes I was getting and the writing, it seemed to be something straight out of 2016. Will be taking away a whole star for giving us this crap in 2023. Booooo! New rating - 6.5/10
They actually ended it like that? Seriously? All that time I spent was wasted... Till the very end I was hoping that it wouldn't be like this, that there would be a twist the writer's would pull & our main character would get a buff but no. Even when there were only 10 minutes left of the episode, I was in denial. What a let down. Everyone moved on so easily too. bruh. Gimme back my time and tears.
I liked Jinwu a lot in the beginning, but now I'm not so sure. You see Jin Young broken down in tears over a man…
Right?! I found him to be a bit of an opportunist and a little manipulative (maybe I'm using that word liberally but that's just how I feel) with how he was being pushy with Jin Young when she clearly was in a very vulnerable state & broken down in tears. She asks him "why are you being so nice to me?" because she rightfully feels confused as she hasn't done anything in particular to warrant this kind of attention from him. Maybe it's just ill timing or whatever but Jin Woo's feelings don't feel particularly authentic & genuine and appear to be forced. Even during the photoshoot double date (with Yu Jin & Si Won) he was all over Jin Young when she obviously didn't look comfortable & was quite taken aback. He just kept pushing forward brute force. It would've been sweeter had Jin Young also reciprocated his feelings a little but rn he just comes off as tone-deaf & insensitive. He should've toned it down a little and thought about Jin Young a little more when acting on his "feelings" instead of making it solely about himself since she has her own heart to consider too.
Couples that I think are going to meet after the one week period: - Si Won X Yu Jin (They've already established that they want to try dating in the real world during their car ride back so they'll definitely meet. I'm hoping this is the couple that actually ended up dating for real, my ship <3) - Possibly Jung Won X Ji Hye (Jung Won seems like a very big player so even though he seems to hit it off well with Ji Hye on the show, he might change his mind in the real world and would only consider her a "close noona" and someone he enjoys hanging out with instead of someone he has romantic feelings for. Ji Hye looks smitten so she'll probably be left alone at the place they choose. But who knows, Jung Won might actually end up showing up to keep his image and for the sake of the show.)
- I don't think Ju Hee will come to meet Yun So after the filming is over. They clash too much and are not on the same page. More than their age, their maturity levels are the main hurdle here. They're on entirely different stages of their lives rn and Ju Hee's worries entirely foreign to Yun So & he's not even trying to understand them. From their last date, you could feel that they were both walking on eggshells around eo & a relationship cannot be built on discomfort, so there's that.) - Jin Young X Jin Woo just doesn't feel like it's going to work since I get the impression that Jin Young only sees Jin Woo as a younger brother, nothing more. I don't think she'll develop feelings for him, no matter how sincere he is since she wants someone that makes her heart flutter & it was just yesterday that she'd gone all in on Jung Won. Feelings aren't so easy to tame and abandon. So unless they *really* hit it off during the date next week, they won't match. I'll be really shocked if they end up as a couple and meet after the one week period.
And ofc, Jun Han is left alone :( [He gives such major golden retriever vibes oml, such a cutie. He's always bluffing about this and that, but you can see he doesn't have ulterior motives and just is that naive lol. He falls too fast & goes "all-in" every time. Hope he finds his own noona out in the real world soon <3
Ji Seung is very two-faced and insincere, I'm glad she didn't match with anyone because no one deserves to put up with negativity like hers. Hope she changes that nasty attitude of hers (talking behind people's backs, saying one thing but acting on another & so on and so forth.) I'm sure Si Won felt it too and that's why he didn't find it worthwhile to stick around any longer.
Props to Si Won for walking away when he did, now he's got an actual noona who he really likes and she likes him back! I'm rooting for Si Won & Yujin so badddd, I really hope they work out! <3
They should've debuted him in Winner, he would've had more activities that way.
Can't they just air it on Netflix or some other OTT platform? They should've chosen a better broadcast company than SBS, like OCN or TVN.

I just saw a preview of Yujin X Siwon's date from tomorrow and sjdfkhslksfsdfl
I found some unreleased clips of their dates, I'll share them here:
Eating together after the photoshoot & arcade date - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hJ-4ruG-aJU
Some extra scenes from their arcade date (Si Won accepted Yu Jin's purse so naturally here lol, they really look like an old couple) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=svQFRE1aZWg
A compilation of different unreleased scenes from their dates (There's quite a few) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hJbgpGFXm4g&t=24s
