+1 Core memory: Crying about Tyme biting Great's ass with strangers online from all over the world, & collectively agreeing that it needs to be immortalized in our brains until the end of time ๐ฅน
I will forever writhe in AGONY over this being cancelled The plot, the cast, the visuals, the โจ cinematography โจ, it was ALL there ๐ญ Oh the things we could've had ๐ฅฒ
This drama will always have a special place in my heart ๐ One of the very first K-dramas I watched way back in Middle School ๐ญ Didn't even know that it was THE Jung Eunji back then! I adore her now ๐ฅน
It wasn't even false accusation tho ๐ญAs far as I know, he was freed of charges because he wasn't "violent enough"…
My god, I'm so sorry! All the power to you for dealing with that everyday but still having the strength and mental grit for knowing it's wrong and calling it out when you see it. Hope the world becomes a better place for all of us women โ
Praying for all those rapists and pedophiles to rot in jail or get castrated like they deserve ๐
It's actually quite interesting that there is absolutely no trace of such a huge scandal of his that dragged on…
It wasn't even false accusation tho ๐ญ As far as I know, he was freed of charges because he wasn't "violent enough" and she didn't "resist hard enough" even though there was a lack of consent cause the girl was literally DRUNK! I think there were even photos she provided of her bruises. That country is so misogynist, it's SCARY ๐ญ
There are also a lot of Korean feminists speaking up on Twitter now since they found ANOTHER Nth Room circulating on Telegram and Facebook. This time, it's men posting inappropriate, non-consensual pictures of their colleagues, classmates, girlfriends, sisters & even their mothers ๐คฎ I've read so many SA posts from victims over the past few days that I've ran out of tears & feel broken inside. The women there aren't even safe in their own homes! If some of them tell their parents about being assaulted by their brothers, they blame the girl instead and tell her to get over it! Still nothing on the men!
Take out the women and those handful decent men, and NUKE that country fr!
Ps, everyone should read up on the 4B movement, explains a lot about the declining birth rate. Since, feminism is literally viewed as a crime in Korea, women lose their jobs and social circle even if they're suspected of being feminists, it's fcked. All power to the women there that have to deal with those tantrum throwing manchildren ๐
I m going to watch it for her and hye joo tho two of my most loved actress r here why ruin it by not watching…
Love, anything you watch through streaming sites counts as support, whether you like it or not. I mean, u as a BTS fan should know that no? Since y'all are always crying about streaming
Anyways, if a person watches a show starring a controversial actor then yes, they are indirectly showing that they have no problem turning a blind eye to him being casted, even if in your defense, you're really only watching for the FL. You can't really pick & choose who your view goes to.
There's tons of other dramas out there but if you're really that desperate, just watch it on pirated sites...
And it's really up to you if you want to support the show & engage with it's content online for the FL or not bc of the ML, I'm not forcing anyone. They're both valid points & I'm not here to judge. It just depends on your perspective & which argument matters more in your eyes.
That's what I'm saying ๐ญThe girl's a gem but I don't get why she'd work with him ๐ฅฒHope she gets better projects…
Right? ๐ญ
The only reason I was able to watch Sweet Home S1 was bc I watched it way back in 2020 when it was airing & didn't know abt his scandals ๐ฅฒ It's a relief that most ppl found the other seasons to be a disappointment cause I don't feel like I'm missing out on much that way
