This drama already deserves to be called the best of 2017 and 2018! Because it's so much better then all 2017's dramas, and I really doubt there'll be something better in this year.. Just perfect! But of course, some romcom with overhyped actors will come and take all the awards! Lol :)

Omg same!! It's the first time since Scarlet Heart that I emotionally affected and totally in love with a drama! It also gives me kind of Scarlet Heart feelings - I know it's totally different, but something in the leads just reminds me so much of SoSoo Maybe because of such a great deeply written characters in both dramas.. What can we do - the best dramas are usually sad..

It's definitly way way better then Strong Woman and Suspitious Partner! No doubt about that! Cinematography was amazing and also interesting plot! Agree that Suzy did a very good job here ( LJS is always good, no need to say it - I am not their fan either:) But it's still a little overhyped... I mean I liked everything, but at the end it was a little predictable..
Still I prefer this to be overhyped and not both dramas that you mentioned! :)

Agree with you:) This drama was very nice, but obviously overhypped :) At the end I got bored with the romance.. But about Suzy - I think she did a good job in this one ( I am not her fan, but I loved her in Dream High, and I liked her here :)

Another Goblin-like drama :) 1st episode left mixed feelings - unlike Goblin it's dynamic and entertaining, but at some moments lacked deepness for me.. But since it's ongoing, and LSG and LHK are in it, I'll watch it :)

I don't care about the actors' past or whatever, as long as they impress me! Sometimes I heard so much praises about some actors, and they just didn't make any click on me.. So far nobody annoys me, and it's already a progress :) I liked the dynamics of first 2 episodes, and the scenery is beautiful! And I LOVE Guryeo period! Glad to see Hong Jong Hyun :) I really hope it'll keep being good!

So great to read such a detailed and positive rewiew about Scarlet Heart! It deserves more rewiews like this! For me this drama totally underrated, maybe has it's flows, but for sure it's better then those new dramas, that have nothing special,but get rated higher :( You perfectly described my feelings about it, except maybe for Hae Soo - yes, sometimes she pissed me off with her desicions, but overall she didn't annoyed me like the most of female leads do.. Maybe because IU itself is just so likeble, or maybe because of her amazing chemistry with Joon Gi :) They became my all time favorite couple! And I also like the ending - it made drama so much memorable, then just regular cheesy happy ending :)

I watched many dramas since Scarlet Heart, old and new, and almost in each one there was a moment, more then one, when I rolled my eyes or skipped some parts because at some point I became bored.. In Scarlet Heart it didn't happen! Not even for a second! It captivated me from the first moment till last, and I still can't get over it! Maybe it had some flows ( close ups for example), but none drama made me feel so many emotions, and for such a long time! It also has best written characters I've ever seen. And for me - the best chemistry between the leads! That's why, for me it'll always be the masterpiece!

Same same same! Last ep was great, and all thanks to Jung Hyun Soo! Tha actor just leaves me speechless! And maybe it sounds bad, but everytime he cries, I feel bad for him, and I kinda understood his motives... As for OTP... I lost my interest for them about 10 episodes ago

There can be many opinions about Scarlet Heart Ryeo, but I just can't agree, that there was no chemistry between Joon Gi and IU!! I do agree that in his previos works romance wasn't his best card, but in Scarlet he's totally different, as well as IU! Yes, I'm fan of this drama, and I think one of the best parts of it was their love story! They became one of my favorite on screen couple, and untill now nobody surpassed them:)
And the age thing didn't bother me either, because he slayed the role, I can't imagine anyone else playing it! And for me he still looks very young:)

Unlike the most of you I`m totally falling for Ji Woon :) I always liked Il Woo, but after 49 days I didn`t really liked his characters, they all seemed pretty the same to me...I even couldn`t finish The Night Watchmen Journal because his character was crying too much! In fact , in this drama I totally love the way he is - tough, manly and a little jerk :) All this with his good looking, it`s all I need to fall for a guy :) ( at least in drama world) And I`m sure we`ll see his smile a lot in future episodes, but right now I just enjoy him, it gives more tense, and make want more his moments with the girl..
About the other knights - Hyun Min: handsome, but there`s nothing special about him.
Seo Woo : just adorable so far, I like him , but don`t ship him with the girl, it seems more like friendship to me:)
