Yes, yes - only Yi Bang Won can be the first!! ? I fell in love with this character in My Country, so I'm watching SFD now! Both, Jang Hyuk and Yoo Ah In are just brilliant, and it's no doubt one of the best kdrama characters ever! Yi Yoong is also one of my faves, and I'd also add Gu Dong Mae!

Why no one is talking about music?? Hands down, this drama has one of (if not) the best OSTs of all time! And by that I mean not just good songs, but songs that really suit the drama, and really felt like part of it!

This drama deserves more than 8.8 - for me it's at least 9!

All those comments about slow romance - lol, why slow romance is a bad thing for some of you? Are you watching dramas ONLY because of the romance, and nothing else? There's so much in this drama to hook to, I'm not even thinking about the romance while watching it! And also, I'm so surprised people disliking CS.. lol.. Well, maybe I wouldn't like a male lead like him in other drama, but here, he just fits somehow! It has to be someone different from Man Weol: her personality is so strong, and also the plot, centered about death, can make it a little heavy, so having someone like Chan Seong - just normal, sweet and caring guy - actually warms my heart :) Also Jin Goo does him very well! And I don't even need to mention IU, because she's beyond amazing!

Maybe it's late, but I still want to name my best in 2018! :)

Must watch!!! Right now it's my favorite drama in this year after My Mister!
All aspects in this drama are just so on point - psychological side, suspence side, family relationships and of course romance! Some people may find it lacking, but for me it's just right - I know, I'm a minority here, but I don't like fast romance, and when there's too much of it - I lose interest and get bored.. I need time to wait for my couple get together, and when they have struggles, it makes me wondering what happens next, and I get more exited when they finally get together! In this drama romance happened just in right time, and all their moments are so sweet and emotional, and the chemistry is superb! But this drama is defintely not just about romance - the story comes first, and it's great - sometimes creepy, but it'll still have you hooked! :)

In currently airing drama it's definitely Psychopath Father and Evil Reporter from Come And Hug Me - I think these two are in top of the creepiest villians of all the times!
And the others, who were memorable for me; Dong Ha's character from Suspitios Partner - for me he was the best thing in that drama ; and no one mentioned Wang So's mother from Moon Lovers! From your list it's Jan Tae Hee - she maybe wasn't pure villian from the start, but gosh - how much I hated her!!

Thanks for the article! :) Just wanted to say that after Moon Lovers I became IU fan - her and Lee Joon Gi! I barely knew IU before, so I hadn't biased opinion about her, yet I never had a problem with her acting! She was great in emotional scenes, especially in the second half, and she showed very well the changes her character went through the years! And the most important - her chemistry with Joon Gi was so beautiful! It can't be done only by one person, no matter how great actor he is - you need two for tango! :)
No doubt, that My Mister is a masterpiece, and her acting there is on another level - also because the character is very interesting! But can't agree that she was bad in Moon Lovers! SoSoo is still my favorite on-screen couple, and I can't imagine anyone else in her place! :)

I agree in some parts! Doesn't matter if his brothers are losers or not, but I can understand that she felt lonely.. Thinking that Dong Hoon spends a lot of time at work, and the rest of his time goes to drinking with his brothers and friends, witch makes his time for his wife to almost never!.. I am not saying that he was wrong doing it, and she had a right to cheat, but he has something to do with this too..

Lol yes! :)) So funny when someone says it about IU - she was pretty even in the most messed Ji An's looks! :)

The older brother described himself perfectly :)) It was to light up the athmosphere.. And actually made me understand the purpose of brothers in this show - to light up the athmosphere :) I can get annoyed with them, but having a good laugh after epic saying like this, actually helped after so many heartbreking scenes:)
And to the point - the drama keeps being amazing just as when it started, every episode is new emotional rollecoster, the OST is perfection, and IU is beautiful in every meaning of this word! All actors are great here, but it's Lee Ji Ahn who makes it so addicting for me!

The youngest still may have an interesting story... Of course any story is nothing compared to Ji An's ???? But I think writer made them this way because he wanted someone with completely different vibe than Ji An.. There has to be contrast.. And I think they all will change after knowing each other ( even though I don't want Ji An to change completely????)

Unfortunately these people seems to be mayority here - that's why I see some dramas with 9 and more rating, witch for me deserve much less.. I loved BOF, it was my first drama, and in it's time I went crazy over it, but it's so far from being the best drama ever! :) My Mister is awesome!! Hope it'll be apreciated as it deserves!!

I think if production needed publicity, they would film totally different kind of drama to begin with... With hot young guy as a main lead:) After watching first episodes I am pretty sure that it's not kind of drama that would cast anyone just to bring rating! If they wanted IU, because they saw her suitable for this role!

I love the female lead - because she is total opposite of what we usually see in dramas! I won't talk about all her misfortunes now, but besides this she is smart, strong character and totally unpredictable, witch makes it so intresting to watch! IU is doing great job - it's not an easy character to portray!..
So far, after 2 episodes I am hooked! Great start!

Me too - wasn't really moved by any drama since Scarlet Heart! I wouldn't say Hwayugi delivers the same deepness, but it was a good drama, and defintly doesn't deserve so much negativity! I really enjoyed watching it as well! :)

I don't understand why is such a hype because of the age difference...It's not like they have 20-30 years between them, and he looks like her grandpa.. Lol.. If they look good together, and have chemistry, what difference makes their real age?.. Wasn't the gap in Goblin much bigger ( both actors and their characters), and everybody loved that show! The KSH age did bother me in the aspect that her role is too old for her, but she's carring it great! I was really surprised how 18 y/o girl can fit into the late 20's woman world so well! I never was her fan, but here I really admire her acting! But agree about her looks - really hope she'll lose this red curly hair in later episodes! ????????
