not a fan of a few things in EP2 but I'm glad the case was more serious and a bit more interesting compared to ep1 and I do like they're already diving into the main mystery/story already.
Loosely translated into english: Thank you to everyone who watched the second episode of "Love is Deep". Did you know that Eitaro-san ate the rice that Kotaro-san seems to have left behind (after that, Nagisa-san brought it home), saying, "I'll have it" at the office? Lol. I look forward to seeing you next week.
Episode 2 was infinitely enjoyable and better than the first episode, I feel like the director for ep1 and ep2…
first things first!! How is Rintaro a tsundere?? I can totally understand what Satomi meant when she mentioned in an interview that Ayano showed his deredere side a bit too much because it shows in this episode! He was so warm, caring and gentle comforting Nagisa in this episode, like you can't help but like Rintaro more because he's so protective of her in the elevator scene and on top of that, he goes and says "thank god you're okay"/"i'm glad you're okay" like whaaat, how is he supposedly this cold tsundere XD he's more deredere than he is a tsundere lol. Not to mention he was STILL holding her close to him until she leaves the building to calm her worries till the very end ><
It was also nice to see Nagisa was the one who helped Rintaro realize what the sea and this project means to him. Whether he was planning to "destroy" the project or not, Nagisa definitely has changed his mind for the better. And you can feel that Rintaro's already warming up to Nagisa. Go & Satomi's chemistry is already showing here and honestly Rintaro is already the best male lead in all of Satomi's romcom dramas lol.
Kote Shinya's fake accent here is hilarious and so goofy lol, loved him in Confidenceman JP and loved him his character here too.. until he revealed he was only after money. I had a feeling he was that kind of selfish character, a money oriented investor who think that they can do anything with money even ignoring natural environment and public need.
That YouTuber character seriously needs to bugger off, maybe it's still early to comment on his character but he's only causing distress for Nagisa and how is he still uploading those videos without her consent when she's already asking him to take them down??
Hotta Mayu & Izumi Rika appearing in the next episode preview! And it seems like they'll be side characters and not merely guests? And is Nagisa and Rintaro already deciding to date each other, WHAT
Episode 2 was infinitely enjoyable and better than the first episode, I feel like the director for ep1 and ep2 are different because the background music, the styling and directing is much better? The story gets more interesting and fast-paced compared to episode 1 and they should totally keep going with this kind of directing. Usually when it comes to romance dramas, you can be invested with the romance but not so much with the main story or vice versa but honestly I'm totally intrigued to see both how their romance and the main story will develop.
What he did was straight up unforgivable but I low-key pitted him. His character was pretty hurt- in a world where…
You completely missed the point of the first 20 minutes or so of the last episode.
Hatter started off right, as a force of hope in a hopeless world. He wanted to combat the fatality of the borderland by having an utopia. However, this utopia was built on a lie-aka, HATTER represents the idea of false hope. Instead of trying to solve the problems and find real answers (like Arisu and Usuagi want to) he makes up his own answer and distract himself and others as a way to combat the desperation, to the point he genuinely starts to believe in his own lies. He is so distracted by this, he ends up taking advantage of the beach goers and their need for hope and is eventually ruined by it.
Aguni, on the other hand, is a person who lost hope. After accidentally killing Hatter (it's up to the viewer's interpretation as to why Hatter never intended to shoot), Aguni throws the blame on the beach (who've betrayed Hatter before and corrupted him) and decides to end it and those who live within it. Instead of handling the truth, picking up the pieces and finding a way to move forward, Aguni chooses... well, death and takes revenge on them all.
For someone who's supposedly been taught right, giving people life advice all the time, nobody seems to have taught you to apologize if you've insulted someone and to not insult when they don't share the same opinion as you do and to learn to accept other people's opinions.
Hmm.. I must disagree on the characters though you're free to hold your opinion :)I don't think her desire to…
what's wrong with commenting in the comments section lmao, if it's that so bothersome for you, the blocking option shouldn't be hard to find. So petty.
Really enjoyed the first episode and Eita is hilarious in this with his more macho and intense attitude lol... and when Kenshi Yonezu's Pale Blue song plays at the end, just *chef's kiss*. Just have Kenshi Yonezu's songs for your drama and it's infinitely better.
Can someone create a page for the spin-off? https://twitter.com/kikazarukoi_tbs/status/1379251904673312775
