Well that was a sweet ending, I liked it. Still wish we got to know more about Amamiya but at the very least the last episode is focused entirely on the trio :) wouldn't mind watching a sequel, this has been one of my comfort dramas for sure and I'm not embarrassed to admit I would only watch this when I'm having dinner lmao

LMAO WHEN KURUMI SHOT HIBIKI AND COINCIDENTALLY THE BULLET ONLY HIT HIS LEFT CHEEK IN THE FINAL EPISODE??? that was so freaking silly.. how insanely good must Kurumi's aim be if she can aim that precisely.. not to mention the two of them would probably be actually deaf after she fired that shot.
seriously, they could've had that annoying kid push Hibiki out of the way and the impact would've been the same. it's like they just desperately needed to have a cliffhanger in the penultimate episode smh.. how come no one walked up to the writer/director and said that sounds dumb. There's a few impactful moments that happen in this drama that I feel like are done just for the sake of having a shocking moment.
and the trend of Hibiki & Todoroki's backstory not being fully explained continues..
@chillingindoors pretty much said what I felt about this drama. Takeuchi Ryoma & Takito Kenichi's performances in this were amazing, this show really showcased their range of acting skills. Sadly not a fan of Nakajo Ayami's acting here, sometimes I can't tell what's she thinking most of the time. Iitoyo Marie was really good too, especially in her crying scenes haha.. she easily outshined Nakajo Ayami here. The zombies here are lame but you'll get used to them very quickly.
The first half was really intriguing but the second half of this drama didn't live up to my expectations and could've and should've been executed better. I still like this drama despite its many flaws which I hope is done better in season two... so this gets a 7.5/10 from me, can't give it higher than that tbh.
Season two teaser looks way more interesting so fingers crossed the series gets better from here on out... and I hope Yasuda Rei's Not The End is there as well lol because that song is sooo good ><
Watch this if you'd like to watch a solid zombie drama with great acting, don't expect a beautiful touching romance story because the romance here is as cliche as it gets.

Not that we know of but I care much more and feel more sorry for Anne and her kids. She's cancelled in my eyes so I don't really think much of her at all anymore.

Ideally I just wish Japan would be more open with putting their shows and films across more platforms, with english subtitles as well so they're more accessible for us international jdrama fans because fansubbers really are doing all the work for us to enjoy. While actual legal platforms like Viki, Viu, Netflix etc really don't offer a lot of jdramas and imo the jdramas they have on there are mostly medicore, it's a shame.
