So is there any particular reason why someone was sent into the game? or were they selected by random?
Arisu, Chouta, Karube and Shibuki all saw the fireworks that went off that day and they also share one more thing in common: they are lost in life and don't know the purpose of their lives.
Based on everyone's backstories, everyone is lost in life is what I'm guessing
I like how natural the scenes for Yuriko & Ryosuke were, the two felt like they were actually family in this.…
The story starts off warm and light, Yuriko and her father slowly bonding together but in the second half after Shigeyuki informs Ryosuke of her illness, every scene after that got sadder and felt heavier after the father finds out the issue at hand. The scene at the end where Yuriko part ways with her father was the saddest. Seeing the two of them not mentioning the elephant in the room with her father encouraging Yuriko and saying the words that she's always wanted to hear from her father after all this time and her putting up a front, struggling to not make a face in front of him :')
I like how natural the scenes for Yuriko & Ryosuke were, the two felt like they were actually family in this. Everyone acted really well, especially Satomi's performance in particular and at the end too. At first, I thought the story would be really melodramatic, mainly focusing on Yuriko's illness but it was really sweet to see that the story emphasized on the relationship between the characters, specifically Yuriko with her close ones rather than what exactly is her illness and how to overcome it etc etc. This drama teaches us about the important things in life and it lived up to its name, 'Greatest Gift of Life'. 8/10 recommended.
God, I can’t stand his mum. I would have slap her thru the tv if i could.
If you understand the position that she's in as a mother, her backstory and the reasons as to why she is the way that she is, I don't blame her. I would probably be the same if I was her.
This show.. was truly bizarre. First half had good suspenseful drama (felt like 3-Nen A Gumi rip off tbh) and then the second half just abruptly turned into a supernatural horror show with a bunch of crazy, silly twists that I'm not sure if they were supposed to be scary or funny, I wonder if they had no idea how to end the story considering the many crazy ways they tried to kill him. I somewhat am enjoying it unironically because it's super ridiculous, the show is so bad it's good. From the writing, to the acting, to the insane characters.. everything about this show is batshit crazy lol.
Is it a must-watch? Far from it but if you want more of Tanaka Kei and Yamada Yuki acting their butts off playing as insane psycho characters, go for it
