wow it's one thing not to like a thing but to insult the people that do?? that's a low blow. This is mindless…
i've talked to them before, that person tends to be aggressive and hates it when others don't share the same opinions as he does so he'll talk down to them
Netflix original series, Alice in Borderland, has been viewed by more than 18 million households worldwide in the 28 days since it was released; the largest number of viewers ever for a live-action (Netflix) original work from Japan. Well deserved!
I see this being mentioned a lot and some people are really bothered about the second half being slower than the…
literally where does the story go if they were to keep the momentum they had from ep1-3 and continued to play games for the rest of their lives? Playing the games and extending their visas forever and ever wouldn't have accomplished anything. Since day one, they've been looking for the answer to this entire thing and the story needed to slow down for explanations and backstories for this world that the story has set up, for Arisu (and his friends) to have the necessary motivation and will to search for the answers to his questions. I'm also seeing people saying Karube and Chota's deaths were unnecessary. The main purpose of what happened in ep 3 gave Arisu the motivation to continue searching for the game masters and the reason as to why they're playing all these games. It gave Arisu a reason to want to rest, but at the same time, eventually, it gave him the ultimate reason to keep on living. It's not an unnecessary death, but one that drove the whole plot along. Karube & Chouta may be gone but they're metaphorically w/ Arisu until the very end.
Had they completely ignore the beach arc or switched a lot of things up, I couldn't imagine the loud backlash this live action would get from the manga fans. This show was a near perfect adaptation that adapted the story (and the beach arc for that matter) well. not to mention why is it whenever live action adapted from mangas are missing out on some details and people are bummed about it and complain about live actions but whenever they do a fantastic job with their adaptation, people don't seem to acknowledge how faithful they stayed true to the manga at all.
But if you were looking for straight up episodic psychological games from start to end, this isn't it. There's Liar Game & Gantz if you want to see more of that, those are popular recommendations.
Is it just me? But it’s like Liar Game. Players are forced to join the game, organized by a dark org but differs…
many think of and recommend the Liar Game so you're not the only one! Tbh I think AiB is more dark and intense. Players that lost in LG have to put up with a seemingly never-ending debt to pay while those that lose in AiB will..
Really sweet, heartwarming special! I loved that they tried to emulate the real world into the story (kinda surreal how a lot of it was accurate) and explore current social issues. Great special.
