despite the comments here, admittedly yes I myself agree that the ending is really not satisfying at all (you'll understand why) but believe me, this drama is still great seriously.

It is absolutely still worth watching regardless, highly recommended in my eyes. Watch it :)

pretty much the manga and the anime has all three dying but their deaths really aren't unnecessary either. I can't imagine the backlash if they changed THE most important part of the story.

There is romance but I'd say this is more of a family drama than it is a romance drama, and it's a great family drama with some romance on the side.

Some people are bothered by the sex scenes or the female body shots but as I'm going through the manga right now, I think it's absolutely more lewd than this adaptation, lol. It's so lewd it's not even funny.

edit: aaaaand turns out those are in the manga as well
