If you're looking to watch Godzilla & Rodan team up against Ghidorah and expect an intense fight, you can pass on this. This movie felt like, humans vs aliens instead. It was more about the humans' battle against the aliens instead of these monsters going at it. Watch Ghidorah, The Three-Headed Monster instead if you want to see better fights, this one was meh. I'm fine with sci-fi but they were shoving so much sci-fi in my face.
Okay Godzilla movie, got bored at times. There was more screen time for humans than the monsters clearly. Not a must-watch, you can easily skip this but it's good if you were looking for a human vs aliens with monsters as the subplot
The story was actually interesting, I liked it. The pacing is weird sometimes but still tolerable. It is different from the usual serious Godzilla movies that we always see and I didn't expect this at all and I can definitely see myself rewatching this a lot. Music & acting was fine. Godzilla's theme playing as he appears and that last battle at the end. Ghidorah's theme as he destroys the city. I really liked all of the interactions these monsters had with each other. It was very different, seeing them full of life, rather animated than the usual serious fights we get and it all makes for a fun (and hilarious) experience. I loved it. I didn't expect this at all and I'm happy this side of godzilla films exists. It is very much, a must-watch if you're looking to take a break from the usual serious tone that these Godzilla movies have. 9/10
A solid good Godzilla movie. The story was actually good. Never once felt like the story was dragging on. The pacing is questionable in the middle, sometimes I don't know what Godzilla is up to, and neither does he too probably and etc. A good amount of these two fighting and just a solid good Godzilla movie. Worth watching
This was good, I enjoyed it more than I expected. The story is actually good and I rarely get bored when it comes to Godzilla's movies but I can't help but feel like they dragged the story a little too long for my liking but that doesn't retract much from the movie. I was worried it'd be a similar scenario like in Godzilla (2014) where the whole movie is the story/people and the last 20 minutes is where the fighting starts but nope, the monsters were shown a lot, there's a good amount of these two going at it and I liked it. A great movie, must-watch in my opinion
Good premise but predictable with over the top acting and most character just... stupid
Acting, I agree. There's obviously amazing acting here but yes, I'd have to admit there's also overacting. But was never offputting nor did it once ruin the story or anything like that or but there's definitely some overacting that'll make you not care that much about the acting.
Characters? It's like.. they're teenagers in high school and character development is a thing and they're learning from their mistakes and still growing up. Crazy, right?
i think they should've made this a short drama instead. I understand it is a movie thus you can't just cram in everything in one movie but it really felt like a lot of things weren't explained and desperately needed more backstories but I'm not going to dive in mentioning which ones because there's plenty. That ending felt really rushed. The academy awards, the scene at end and etc. They just confessed to each other, which in my opinion, the build-up to it and all was bad. I can't pin-point which part Shizuku took a liking to Yori instead of Subaru. They suddenly confessed to each other and Yori, after all this super confidence that's built up throughout the movie, asks her to marry him out of the blue lol that was soooo unexpected!! And these two are in high school. High schoolers who both haven't met each other since childhood. And he proposes to her straight away, like how about y'all date first??
Pick this up if you're looking for a short cute romance movie to pass the time and don't want any of that serious heavy melodrama stuff. 6/10.
I'm late but thank you very much for subbing this. I know everyone is entitled to their opinions but I'm not gonna lie, a 9 for this is really stretching it. A 9 or 10 for acting and music. Really though? I thought the story wasn't nothing that spectacular and it was just fine. The ending was rushed for sure
not related to the drama whatsoever but those tiktok clips of them dancing wildly to Queen's Don't Stop Me Now felt insulting :l it looked like they were dancing to some EDM shit
around 53 or 54 minutes, the part where his friend shows up and shakes his friend; I got the imprssion that's the body language and the face he's making is of someone who's jealous and is mad that Kenji gets to have his debut but looks like that never led to anything
