Such a heartwarming and beautiful movie. Hearts were broke but hearts were also very much touched
He never got to be a director and stayed as an assistant director because he sacrificed his dream by never finishing his story thus they refused his screenplay because he wanted to finish 'his story' with Miyuki.
The real story is the heartbreaking hospital scene at the end, but in the screenplay/story he wrote (which was a happy ending just like what Miyuki wanted) is the one where he shows up in her world and lights her world.
The last scenes at the end broke my heart and got my spirits up again ;)
Rewatched it and fell in love with it again, I know it might be impossible at this point for a special or a sequel but can we please have Tomoya Nagase with Gakki in a drama together? that's all i'm asking for
Is it me or does Nagasawa Masami overact the hell outta herself on this show to the point that her facial expressions…
idk if this is a spoiler but better be safe than not at all, he interacted with them at the last episode and that's pretty much all I got to say about that lol

Well to me, it didn't seem that ridiculous. It didn't ruin anything at all for me. I've seen worse overacting.
It's been a while since I last finished it but I think they absolutely start to move on from just targeting someone who did something wrong. It's definitely worth watching the remaining episodes, yes.
Idk it was fine by me. Would've been nice to see some character but can't really think what else he could be doing in the story, lol.
so there is no transition in their relationship from the 3rd season??? Nothing at all? No subtle hints? Nothinggg????…
Yep. As if Aizawa showing interest in Shirashi in season 3 (it was the first and only one episode) never happened. someone said there was a subtle hint but for me, I didn't see any at all. If there was, enough with the hints because this is the finale already

IMO her acting isn't super cringey like Aoi Honno's level of overacting. Her character gets super excited and animated with her devious plans that it makes her feel alive so that never bothered me because her lively reactions and expressive faces make sense with a character like hers. Plus, a character like Dako demands over the top acting like we see in the show; if I were to pretend this was an anime, her character fits in perfectly lol.
But if you do get annoyed by her acting, just stay and keep watching for the story, because each episode is really good.
