I think it's not only youku fault. This year, more of the series, air on multiple platforms , also TV channels, like dunno Hunan, ZJTV, and they NEVER provide English subs. Second - tempo, how they are dropping dramas are insane. So i think, because the clock is ticking, and because of multiple platforms at once, they simple can't/ don't have time to provide decent subs for all their shows. Some platforms are like that for years like MGTV for example :P and maybe Youku didn't wanted provide some machine translation, like they do, and rather decide to not add none at all, to some of their shows.
Am I the only one who never understans these plot summaries? 🤔😅
They are translated from Chinese, and they sounds like that. Until title will air, it's hard to fix those, because at the end, many details always changes , and we know it's hard to even grasp the story, expecially with some fantasy/wuxia one, which are very poetic in nature. So yeah, it will be probably fixed after few first ep would air.
