This scene is central to understand XY. Her choices, her actions, her words, her struggles. It's an important part of her journey (her silent love for XL she kept to herself and even from herself because it hurts so much). If they don't include this, it'll be a huge lost for XY & XL and for the story. It's 3 love-stories (sibling love, pure/innocent first love, impossible painful silent soulmates love) and a woman's journey through these 3 relationships.
I think, considering how the drama is for now, how XL is quite well-written, they won't forget this important scene.

He put a young innocent girl to an excruciate death to revenge again a man she never knew because he could be her father. Logic and fairness are not in his vocabulary. He's a crazy man who find an awful way to try to apaise his sorrow. I'll never understand people blaming/punishing relative for somebody else crime.

She loves the 3 ML, of 3 different loves.
1st ML: Strong sibling love since they're the only survivors of their Xiyan family (except a grand-father who's also their ruler).
2nd ML: First love, pure, innocent but not without difficulty.
3rd ML: Soulmates impossible love (since they're enemies but also best friends with feelings for one another).
And she ends up with the 2nd ML (TSJ, the fox).
Basically, her relationship with the 1st is family, the 2nd it's romantic, the 3rd it's friendly with strong romantic undertones never explored (since neither wants to allow him/herself to fall in love or make the other know they have feelings).

Thinking XY doesn't love Jing is watching the drama with sunglasses. We see she lusts him, she's jealous, girly and ready to do things her grandmoter was doing for please her grandfather. We can debate if she's madly in love with him or not totally because for that, there's ambiguity (since she seems to use her head and logic to choose a partner and he's the nicest, purest and safest suitor). But she likes him, she's attracts to him, she sees a future for them, wants to please him and seems to love him.

It has nothing to do with him being a demon and everything with him being her family' enemy, a Chenrong's general who'll fight to the end for a long lost country. A part of her didn't forget how abusive he was and that's definitely something she considers when she decided to close/protect her heart from him but it's his loyalty which is the issue between them.

True, but I think YZ know that if XL confessed, Xy and him will start talking heartfuly about their feelings, their needs and what she expects from him. So even if he still has his army, their relationship will start to grow and XY could no longer put an emotional distance with him. She thought with her head not her Heart as long as he didn't fully confess. But After, it'll be harder. So even if he never abandon his army, their relationship will grow and the ending will not be the same.

He was starting to enjoy their time together and also, he's a busy man. So when he came to see her, he expected it to be for him or something important.

In the voiceover, her brother told her XL didn't saved her for free, he demanded some Chenrong Land. So she's heartbroken, sad and angry to think he didn't saved her because he care for her but because he wanted something in exchange of saving her.

When I saw the dance scene play out alongside XL's fight, I couldn't help but think back to XY's last words to him: "If only you could just be FBY." The path XL has chosen is dark, harsh, bloody and deadly. He bids her farewell to go fight her family's army, being their enemy. He leaves her for darkness and violence as his loyalty commands him to fight and die for Chenrong.
Their paths are opposite. XY can accept him as a friend but because of his choice of life, of who he is, she never allows herself to fall in love with him, even though deep down, she has feelings for him. Their story, their friendship, their love, are tragic.
This scene also seems to indicate the storm is coming. While the 4 youngsters are having fun and enjoying life, dark forces are at work, war is raging, blood is being shed and, sooner or later, it will end up splashing on them.

Yeah, they are. But because of the censorship, th crew dubbed some dialogue to change their connection and try to have XY's mother be the adoptive daughter (but blood related) of the Queen of Xiyan and not her biological daughter. But since the drama was written and filmed with the thought they were really first cousins, I prefer stick to this version. Since they didn't even change some dialogue so sometimes they're real cousins, sometimes not, according to the scenes.

I think she is aware of it, but not fully. She knows she has feelings and is afraid that if she kisses XL, he will end up haunting her dreams and she will fall in love with him.
This fear she has of falling for him exists precisely because she has feelings for him but he is not made for her and she has a negative view of love since her parents divorced and her grandfather was not the best husband for her grandmother. Therefore, she doesn't seek love and even less with someone who unsettles her and can make her head spin like XL does.
YSQ is the safest choice because XY has the upper hand in their relationship (since she's like a big sister/protector), he's sweet, calm and kind. Thus, she has a sense of security. Even though she is not madly in love with him, she is attracted to him and likes him, which for her is enough. While for XL, her emotions are more violent (I think she's much more attracted to him than to YSQ), he has the upper hand over her, is unpredictable, restless and mean. He has the ability to hurt her emotionally and physically and she fears she has no control in their relationship but also of her feelings when faced to him. Reason why she denies her feelings and prefers YSQ.
I'm so sorry you saw a spoiler. People aren't careful enough around here and some even write spoilers for people who just want to talk about the drama. But I hope you'll enjoy the drama regardless.
