I have a major concern for this drama, because BOF was what brought me into Dramaland. I feel that the innocence…
I'm actually the opposite. I did think it sweet how Domyouji never really thought of Makino in a sexual way, but it was also unrealistic. I'd be happy for an American version to change that aspect of their relationship. If they can make it more obvious how Makino feels about Domyouji, I'd like that as well.
Will you be putting a little more focus on the Yi Jung/Ga Eul romance? I felt they should have done more with…
Same, i prefer the friend in Boys over Flowers over the friend in Hana Yori Dango. That whole storyline was something that they changed from the original manga that I actually liked.
I can sincerly say that you guys are great!! Never in my wildest dreams I imagined that America will do a remake…
Yep, i want to ask question number 1 as well. There's gotta be more skinship in an American remake, otherwise what's the point? And presumably they'd have to do the waiting in the rain scene because that's the most iconic scene from the manga/dramas.
EDIT: They answered this further down, lol. There will be makeout scenes but no sex. It's PG13.

Oh hey, you finished Cruel City. I saw your comment on Meg's wall. I think Shi Hyun died because everything about his life had been pointless. And he couldn't go back to being a cop because he had been a criminal for too long. He'd killed people as part of his cover. He couldn't stay a criminal though, because that's not really who he was. I think him dying was really all that was left.
The last couple episodes were oddly paced, and Shi Hyun started suddenly using guns instead of knives, lol. I put that down to them just running out of time, and also the actor playing Shi Hyun was very badly injured and in need of rest. He was on heavy painkillers during the last few weeks of filming, the poor guy.

I'd never heard of Fairy Tail but I looked it up, it sounds like fun. I should check it out, I think :-)

I'm in a bit of a drama slump as well. I wonder if it's just that time of year, lol

I know, how good is Cruel City! I was amazed at how much i thoroughly enjoyed it. I marathoned the first 18 episodes in a day, lol. I'm gonna start watching a Japanese drama next, i think i need a little break from the k-dramas.
And woot, Big Bang next week, it looks like a fun episode too.

Hey hey, I'm only watching Master's Sun at the moment. I haven't watched anything else, drama wise, in a few weeks. At one point, I was watching about 11 dramas at once, lol, and then one by one they finished, and i didn't start anything new. I just watched the idol episode of Running Man, have you watched that yet? So funny!
I was discussing this with someone the other day. How, every drama character is always ambitious or at least, wants to do well at their job. There's no one that is just like "meh, i did enough to keep me employed", which is what I'm like. Dramas haven't changed me, but at least i've acknowledged that i'm totally lazy and have no ambition, lol
So many of the problems with this drama are really just the problems with the manga. Everything is so over the top, and the Gu Jun Pyo character is such a douche, but that's all straight from the manga. The amnesia, the evil mum, all of that. So i find it hard to dislike this version because of what was in the source material.
hehehe thanks for this article!ass shove kiss!nice oneXD hahaha I really like accidental kisses, the more unrealistic…
It was my first accidental kiss scene too, before I realised how common it was, lol. I was like "why are they reacting like that? That clearly wasn't a kiss", and then realised that Ok, they're all gonna take it as if it was. Alrighty then.
Considering not the actors, but characters I'm kind of bored with that all that older female\younger male combo.…
A couple with an age gap can still be super cute. Jo Jung Suk and IU in You're The Best Lee Soon Shin are 13 years apart in real life but in the show, they are the cutest couple you'll ever see. The age gap isn't noticeable at all, they have such chemistry, it's amazing.
Add 7th Grade Civil Servant.. This had awesome potentials but they ruined it with the bad casting, i had to drop…
Yeah, i didn't think they were a great fit either. Although, i don't know if it was necessarily the age gap as such, but Joo Won was also playing an immature guy, so that just made it worse.
I do not understand people who didn't like the ending of this drama, it wasn't about flowers & cute bunny…
Yeah, it ended how you expect it to end. Where was Paksa supposed to go from there? He couldn't keep being the drug runner but he couldn't become a cop, not after everything he'd done and gone through. The only thing that could happen was for him to die.
I didn't quite get Soo though. I felt it jumped from one thing to another, and Soo is sending the thug guys off somewhere, but then he was at Cho's place fighting him. I was like, "wait, what?" Did I miss something?
I actually thought Lee Minho looked older than his age in Personal Taste, and I didn't think Lee Jong Hyuk looked his age in Cyrano Dating Agency. I do agree about Moon Sun though, Kim Soo Hyun has a young face already so putting him against someone several years older didn't quite work. As for Gumiho, Shin Mina has never looked her age, and Seunggi looks older than he is, so they matched each other perfectly, I agree.
~Hellow~ I've heard a lot of praises/greatness about this drama but I'm a romantic drama sucker... can you please…
God that's so true. I've been trying to think of shows like it and I can't. Having said that, I do compare it to City Hunter just to give people an idea. I mean, City Hunter was more romantic but it still wasn't about the romance. So it's easy to give CH as a comparison when people are thinking about watching Cruel City.
