Holy mother of God!!!!! this series is way tooooo much! How do the writers and producers justify our lovely and…
The bigger issue for me was the abuse ML had to go through from FL for the misunderstanding. It was not his fault that she was reading a love letter when the mic was on. Still the drama makes the ML cope a lot of abuse for it.
Worse, the perpetrator of the abuse, the FL, never says sorry to the ML for the abuse she put him through for a situation she was solely responsible for.
The ML is disgustingly pathetic. he literally crawls at the feet of FL. May be that's the taste of viewers of these dramas. And this reflects, the other guy pretty much fondling the FL for years but the ML is 'very understanding' of both the FL and the 'other guy'.
I think the drama writers sit down and decide to make the ML as pathetic as possible, simping for the FL, does not ever look at other girls & never allows other girls near him. On flip side, the same writers will allow multiple men who are all over the FL. The FL for some reason will allow these men to have their way with her.
o god, annoying love triangle.. gonna skip this 😅
Unfortunately I watched this until episode 8 and dropped it.
The ML was such a wimp it was hard to keep watching it but most Cdramas now a days seem to have such wimps as ML's or as I now a days call them as Dildo ML's... seems to be trend.
The only function of men in these dramas, the ML, the 2ML, 3Ml etc etc are there to satisfy the FL.
Best thing about this drama is the main leads, their chemistry, their friendship and everything ele about them. Everything else in this drama is average, not bad but not great either. It was ok..good.
If there ever was a drama where you can just watch it for the leads, this was it.
Honestly people have no complaints over a bland personality less cold dude but they suddenly hate s strong female…
I do like the FL as well.
Just comparing her to the so called 'toxic' ML who never hit the FL in the dramas. This is a unique asian phenomenon.
Was watching the Marvel movie Shang-Chi seven rings and at one point the ML gets kicked in balls by his sister. It was supposed to be funny and it was and I had a good laugh watching it. After I left the movie, that's the only scene I remembered from that stupid movie and it made me feel uncomfortable. My thinking was, if it was the ML who kicked his sister in her private parts or slapped her boobs, would I have laughed? Would any film maker dare to have something like that in any main stream movie? the answer would be NO. I would not have laughed either & in fact, I would be disgusted and repulsed at the ML but why did I laugh when the guy was getting kicked in the balls by his sister!
So when i watched this drama and how casually the FL repeatedly slapped the ML because she could, it was jarring. No, the ML in asian dramas, though toxic are not seen slapping girls because they could.
So she supposed to read his mind to know he is annoyed by her reading the letters! He never told her he is annoyed…
Watch ep 8. The simp again repeatedly says sorry & the FL says it's alright - NOT it was never your fault & no where does she say sorry for her part in misunderstanding and mistreating him.
And yes, you are right. I dropped the drama on Ep 8. Have seen enough Cdramas with spineless ML to know how this one is going to progress.
Honestly people have no complaints over a bland personality less cold dude but they suddenly hate s strong female…
She literally repeatedly slapped a guy.
Never seen any 'toxic' ML do this in any drama.
Just to be clear, I like how the FL is portrayed. She is not the goody FL in most dramas. It's a refreshing change to have a FL that has bit of nastiness in her.
I see the double standards in the opposite waysWhen the ml is cold and rude everyone fangirls and makes excuses…
Have no problem with cold FL or even bossy ones. Having same generic FL would be shitty. Already the ML's have become very generic.
My issue with the FL in this drama is the physical abuse. she just slaps the ML repeatedly because she wants to take out her frustration and he was the nearest weak guy who won't hit back.
A business proposal is perhaps my worst Kdrama ever, Did not like the ML and FL. They came across as so fake.
I like it except for the ML who doesn’t fit but honestly speaking it's weird how cold/rude MLs get bashed nowadays…
I see this perverse 'strong' FL characterization creeping from Cdramas into Kdramas.
For most part these writers don't understand what strength means. They think strength is shouting loudest, hitting men, treating men like shit and being a 'boss'. Nothing could be further from the truth.
People who don't respect other people & don't maintain their dignity in adversity are weak, irrespective of the situation. Real strength is not lashing at people or treating people who are kind to you as shit or abusing the weak.
a lot of cdramas FL fail this test.
The FL in this drama is bit better. She is nasty to everyone but there seems to be a backstory and very obvious character growth going ahead.
I find the ML in this drama much stronger as a person than the FL & it's not even a contest at this point.
It's always been like that, mean, rude, cocky attitude FL would be called as strong, badass woman. Not that i…
Just wondering how would the viewers in Korea react if a 35 year ML keeps slapping a 25 year old FL across the face when it is very obvious he is taking out his displaced anger and frustration on her since she is an easy target.
Would the viewers be as understanding of that ML as they are for the FL in this drama?
idk about y'all but I feel like I'm the only one who thinks the fl is quite annoying
That's where her growth starts I guess.
In Episode 1, she was on an ego trip & was fine to use anyone and anything to get to the top. Those slaps to that poor chap at the end is basically her hitting the bottom. Would have liked the guy punch her in the face after the second slap so that her redemption arc begins.
If some one likes that kind of a character, then they can go for it.
the men in this drama are eye candy and basically have one purpose in the drama, to simp the FL and worship the ground she walks on.
It was not his fault that she was reading a love letter when the mic was on. Still the drama makes the ML cope a lot of abuse for it.
Worse, the perpetrator of the abuse, the FL, never says sorry to the ML for the abuse she put him through for a situation she was solely responsible for.

Yet another drama with sexually challenged male leads.
The 2ML is practically a Eunuch at this point.
dropping this

He is trying to figure our mechanics of being one.
He is dead but what actually happened is the suspense, which I assume will be unpacked as the drama goes.
usually in Asian Dramas, the ML are the prettier ones but the FL in this one is gorgeous.
Everything else in this drama is average, not bad but not great either. It was ok..good.
If there ever was a drama where you can just watch it for the leads, this was it.
The relationship between ML and FL is being built up to be meaningful.
If this holds the pace, it would be another kdrama that will be impressive this year and there have been quite a few of them already.
again, really love how different the FL is.
Who wants the same bland store-typical characters anyway,
Just comparing her to the so called 'toxic' ML who never hit the FL in the dramas.

Wondering if a 35 old powerful man were to keep slapping a 25 year old poor girl repeatedly, would you consider that man as strong as well?
My issue with the FL in this drama is the physical abuse. she just slaps the ML repeatedly because she wants to take out her frustration and he was the nearest weak guy who won't hit back.
A business proposal is perhaps my worst Kdrama ever,
Did not like the ML and FL. They came across as so fake.
They just don't pass the 'test'.
The ideal test to understand any gender dynamic is to swap the gender in a specific scenario and see if it passes the test.
For most part these writers don't understand what strength means.
